Hello, I just got this keyboard for my birthday, I installed it on my PC with the USB cable but I have no sound. What's more, when I open the Prodipe Virtual Expander software, it tells me! No MIDI input port has been detected! Please install a MIDI input port and restart this application. Software version 1.5.5 IPE music 2006-2008 the power button of the software cannot be activated without it.
The packaging box was a bit torn and not closed and according to the manual on the CD, I am not missing any cords.(?)
Can someone help me?

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

Thank you for your help, with Logic Fun it's the same problem.
I managed to unlock everything after searching through the forums. The USB function of my Logitech keyboard was conflicting with the Prodipe keyboard, and after some tweaks the problem is solved and the keyboard works wonderfully with many software, it's great. It's a shame it took so long to resolve. Here’s a little reminder for those who have the same problem, it can't hurt. See keyboard recognized at connection but not by the software.

Hello

Are there any drivers to install on the CD?

After checking in a music store, my package is complete and should work. I installed it on another PC to try it with W7, and it worked on the first try, except for some crackling in the speakers with the sound, a problem already identified on this forum, but with XP still nothing. I have nothing in the MIDI input selection box like worlde controller ks49 with W7.
Moreover, my Epson printer no longer works after installing the software, message (the print spooler service is not running).
The printer works again after uninstalling; what a hassle.
I wonder if it's a missing setting or a card to add to the motherboard? The music store offered to test my equipment.
The computer I have, I built it myself, so maybe something is missing?
See you later.

Hello! I just saw your message.
Despite the searches I've done, I can't find this free download.
I have a friend who has Reason, let's see if it works with that.

Hello

I'm attaching the link to download Logic fun,

Reason is quite different; it has virtual instruments and effects, but it's mainly software dedicated to loops and patterns (measures that are used multiple times).

Logic fun is a simple sequencer with 4 audio tracks and 16 MIDI tracks. You can record in MIDI continuously, add synchronized tracks, add audio as well, and mix everything at the end.

These are two different approaches.

So, the possibilities left are the functioning of the USB ports (???). The manual states it's compatible with USB 1.1

You could also try a standard free sequencer, like Logic Fun, and see if the MIDI works with it.

In the transport window (Play, Stop, Rec buttons, etc...), all the way to the right, there's a dark square marked "No In" and "No Out"

When playing on the keyboard, they should display the notes received.

Thank you for the link. The problem remains the same, the keyboard is still not detected by the software while Windows does detect it.
I am starting to believe that it's a driver issue.
