Hello,
I connected a MIDI keyboard (evolution MK 149) to the serial port of my sound card. It is recognized, but it doesn't work. I installed XG Player and Karawin; do these programs help to make it work? If not, could you please suggest the name of a free software?
Thank you
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Thank you, but the download is no longer possible, and it is more about finding a software or driver that allows the use of the Evolution MK 149 MIDI keyboard.

Best regards

I have an MK149 keyboard that I use without a driver: it uses MIDI and doesn't need one. What's necessary is a MIDI interface or a compatible sound card (I'm using a basic Sound Blaster with the keyboard connected to the game port).
Then any DAW software recognizes the keyboard (in fact, the MIDI interface of the sound card).
