Wii installation + controller charging blinking blue

Hello,

I just bought a Wii but I need your help because I can't install it, especially with the controller.

I've connected the power supply, the sensor bar, and then the cable to the TV (but I should point out that I don't have an AV cable for the Wii, only a YUV cable for flat screens, and thus I have a green image on my CRT screen; maybe my problem comes from that...).

So, I managed to install all the accessory cables without any problem, but the controller, I can't figure it out!

I have a BIG BEN charger to replace the batteries with a rechargeable battery. I plugged it into the Wii, there are blue indicators on the charger; and when I place the controller in the charger, I have blue flashes underneath next to the blue indicators (I don’t know what that means...). I left it charging for an hour... Then, I followed the normal procedure, that is, I turn on my Wii, I press SYNC on the back of my controller (which I haven't connected to my nunchuk or motion...) and there should be a blinking LED (I don’t know where, probably on the Wii)

but nothing happens...

What should I do??

Please help me...
