Hello,
for a few days, whenever I use a USB stick, any one, Explorer.EXE crashes when I transfer or use files on the USB stick in question.

Explorer.exe is not on the USB stick but on the computer you are using to read your files.
However, it is still possible that the USB stick has a defect.
You should test it on another computer.

Hello, I'm re-upping the topic because I'm experiencing the exact same issue since this week... Does anyone have a viable solution? Thanks in advance
Edit: I found the solution, I'm sharing it for those who might have the same problem as me with explorer.exe
Go to Start -> Run
and type the following line -> regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll
press OK and normally it shouldn't crash anymore :)

It's the same problem for any USB key; the issue comes from the computer.
And why do you tell me "Explorer.exe is not on the USB key but on the computer you are using to read your files"? I know what "explorer.exe" is.
I've had a PC in my hands since I was little; I'm not a beginner...

That's exactly what I said. You shouldn't just read but also understand!

Why are you asking questions if you don't want an answer??
If the problem comes from your PC, don't talk about your key or anything else, talk about the USB ports on your PC, so test or have your motherboard tested to see if it's damaged or not!
