Hello everyone.
I am using a Verbatim 256 Store 'n' Go USB drive with the provided v-safe application that allows creating a public area and a private area protected by a password.
I accidentally deleted v-safe while the private area occupies 50% of the drive's capacity.
Since then, I can only access the 50% of the public area.
I have downloaded the v-safe application, but it refuses to install, whether from C: or from the drive. I receive the following message: "no store'n'go was found".
I would like to clarify that the drive is connected during the installation attempt.
How can I recover the total space?
Thank you for your help.

Same problem with a 1 GB Verbatim key.
No one seems to have the solution...
It's annoying! -
Hello,
After having solved this same problem in the same way, it turns out that V Safe does not work on Vista! Only the Public Access part is accessible, while the Privacy Zone (the most important one in place) is not.
How can I format the entire key (public zone and privacy zone) to make it all accessible instead?
Thank you

You just need to launch the v-safe application, it backs up everything on your USB drive. On the right, you have the drawing of the USB drive, just move the cursor all the way up and click on format. Then all you have to do is put everything back on your USB drive. (Of course, if you had any documents in the "private" section, they are no longer available, sorry...)

Hello,
I have a Verbatim Mini Store 'n' Go USB 2.0 drive and I want to create a private area on this drive. How can I do this since no software is provided with the drive?
Thank you for the response. -
Hello,
I have a USB key but apparently it is not partitioned; there are really TWO keys in one. That is to say, I can't delete the partition because it's a different key!
How can I merge them together!!!
P.S.: It's a promotional key, one of the partitions is write-protected!
Thank you in advance. -

I had the same issue as you, actually you need to go here:
https://www.verbatim.fr/
And click on your USB key, then you need to copy the file V-safe100.exe into the "publiczone" section, it will ask for your password, it will be the same as the old one.
If the link mentioned above no longer works, go to the Verbatim site, then help, then downloads, then "Store'n'Go USB Devices - Support Page"
(the file provided in the downloads section, 8- keysafe was not the right one).
There you go, I hope this helps.-

Same problem, I wanted to recover my 2GB by formatting the USB key, but there was only one partition of 196MB left, and it no longer asked for the code, very annoying!!!!!! While searching for a solution, I came across the link already mentioned a bit earlier:
https://www.verbatim.fr/
From there, there are no issues to reinstall the software, everything is working again. Phew! -
I had the same issue and I was able to solve it by applying your method, but you need to check the serial number of the key.

Hello, my Verbatim USB key refuses to access the privacy zone, it tells me to install Store and Go or to be the privileged administrator, which I am, so this is unsolvable. If you have an answer, thank you.

I'm in the same mess, I delete v-safe and I have 2MB of memory left when I download v-safe100 I encounter the same problem as you, if you have a solution don't hesitate to share it with me, thanks.
- Hello, same mistake made on a Store 'n' Go 8 GB: I only have 5 GB available. I can't find the v-safe 100 version for XP (I have XP SP3), the version for Vista doesn't work… and formatting doesn't restore the full capacity… it only shows the capacity of publiczone.
If anyone has a solution, thank you very much.
