Bonjour,
Je viens de réinstaller le jeu Farcry (le n°1), qui fonctionnait très bien il y a quelques années.
L'installation se passe sans soucis apparents.
Par contre quand j'essaye de lancer le jeu, il me met le message:
CrySystem.dll Loading Failed: Descripteur non valide
Je suis sous windows XP et ma config matérielle n'a pas changé depuis la première installation.
Un truc que je trouve bizarre, au moment de l'install, il ne me demande pas la clé du jeu, que j'ai pourtant au verso de la notice.

J'ai exactement le même problème et il ne semble pas y avoir de solution sur le net.
Quel solution adopter ?

Je n'y comprend rien, j'ai essayé plein de manips, genre réinstall de directx, ou mise à jour de tous les pilotes, bref ça ne marche toujours pas.
J'ai également essayé d'installer un autre vieux jeu, "le retour du roi", qui marchait également bien il y a quelques années, mais ça bug également:
"Il y a un problème avec d3d8.dll"
Apparemment ça vient de directx, mais je ne trouve pas la solution du problème.
A noter que je suis toujours au service pack 2, je ne sais pas si çà peut aider à résoudre mon problème.
J'ai fait une analyse antivir qui est clean.
Dans le dossier system 32, le dossier directx ne comporte que des icônes, et les fichiers genre d3d8.dll sont en vrac dans system 32. Est-ce normal?
