and now the game doesn't recognize the CD ??

The patch 1.0e is for Conquerors expansion
for Age of Empires 2, the patch is 2.0a or 2.0b
with patch 2.0b you can play without the CD.

properties
compatibility tab
run this program for

Bonjour,

J'ai AOE installé sur Vista et j'ai installé le patch 2.0b pour pouvoir jouer en réseau sans le CD car il me le demande à chaque fois, mais le problème, c'est que dès que je l'ai installé, AOE ne m'affiche plus aucune connexion en multijoueur et je n'ai plus les démos de démarrage.
Peut-on faire quelque chose ???

Good evening,

I found the solution for AoE 2 on Vista with the patch 2.0b, you just need to right-click on the shortcut and run AoE in Windows XP mode or another mode. It worked for me and I can play online without the CD.
