Age of Empires : How to install a CD-ROM version on a PC without a drive

I have a CDROM version of Age of Empires 3 (with "product key") and I want to install it on a new PC without a CD drive. How can I do this?

P.S.: I assume the answer will be the same for Age of Mythology.

    Hello,

    You can buy an external USB CD/DVD drive or create a virtual drive and extract the game's CD ISO.

    And if it's a key for an online platform like Steam, you just need to create an account and use the key.

      For my Blizzard games, no problem, but for Microsoft or LucasArt games, it’s not possible.
      I tried your method, but it asks me to "insert the CD," which is technically impossible.

        Well, you need to be able to extract the ISO from the CD using another PC, then transfer it and mount it on a virtual drive on your new PC.

        To extract the ISO, there is CDBurnerXP as a free software, you need to use the "copy a disk" option to obtain a file in "ISO" format and then transfer this file to your new PC via a USB stick, nothing simpler, then on Windows 10 you can mount this ISO as a virtual drive, if it doesn't work you need a third-party software, and there is everything, paid programs or filled with "PUP", so be careful when installing this software to especially choose the "custom" or "advanced" option.
