Age of Empires II : The Conquerors

Hello, I would like to know if there is a patch to put Age of Empires: The Conquerors expansion in French.
I would actually like to have it in French, besides, I don't know if it exists in a French version. Thank you for helping those who love strategy games.

Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.5 core 2 duo e8500 GPU: ati radeon HD3870; HDD 500gb; 4gb ddr800

To have a French patch, there is a way and it is simple for those who have Age of Empires II: The Conquerors expansion in French. If you want to help others, you just need to go to the game source and copy 3 folders to your desktop:
TAUNT SOUND and HISTORY. Compress them into a .zip or .rar file using WinRAR or WinZip (makes sense) and post it on a forum, and you will be the happy creator of this French patch for AoE 2: The Conquerors. The reason I’m posting this is that I don't have the French version myself, and I'm not hiding anything; I got it from an English friend, so I had no choice.

Why did you get the game in a foreign version??? ...
Both games exist in French ... you can go to any FRENCH store or website and find it in French ... so I don’t know where you bought it...

A tip is to try to find people who have Age of Empires 2 The Conqueror in French and copy their explanation.

False,  the taunt sound and history folders are not enough, you also need the language.dll and language_x1.dll files  For me, it works very well  Ciao

As someone pointed out, I made a mistake and forgot to add other files and/or folders, so here it is, I think this one is complete. We need the folders:
- history
- taunt
- Sound
- scenario
- the file language.dll
- the file language_x1.dll
- the file SETUPENU.DLL

For the last one, I'm not sure, but apparently it's for updates, so better to have it in French too :-)

PS: the scenario folder is missing too!

Hello everyone,

I have the games AOE II & AOK II in French, but I noticed in a campaign that I'm missing some elements (the dam and the naval gate, maybe others but I'm not sure), I downloaded the files language.dll & language_x1.dll and it seems to me that they are also "incomplete" compared to the ones I already have.

I will try to translate the phrases into French and I'll keep you updated!
