Tony Hawk Wii calibration issue

Hello,
my brother and I got Tony Hawk Shared for Christmas. I open it, put it in the Wii and so far everything works, but when it comes to calibrating the board, after trying 50 times, I still can't do it. They say it needs to be 1.20 meters all around the board. There is 1.20 meters everywhere around the board, even more! Help me so I can finally play.
Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 534.10

    Hello,
    I also had the problem
to solve it, I had to follow Gwen's procedure
    after that everything worked.
I turned on the Wii, started the game, turned on the board, then plugged in the connector and pressed the small button
for your information, I have a small room so I had to push everything and create as much space as possible but it was still tight but I managed to calibrate it
by the way, when you pass the first step of calibration
make sure to press down on the board to successfully calibrate it.
Additionally, I will reply to Gwen, but she must have noticed
once the board is calibrated, the distance of 1.20m is no longer necessary. I barely have 1m of space on each side and I was able to play without any issues. There you go, good testing and see you later!

I tried the procedure (turning it on, plugging it in, etc.), but it didn't work. However, the trick of using old batteries worked on the first try!!

Clearly, the sensors on the board are very sensitive. The solution is either to use battery backups or to place the room where you are in the dark and place the Wii sensor at floor level..
      Good skate.....it's great otherwise.

valode, hello, when you calibrated your board, was the square that is on the Wii in front of your board?? And I did what you told me but it doesn't work and they say to go to the Activision site but on that site there isn't even Tony Hawk shared.
gwen, hello, my mom got me one too, did you have the same problem?

Hello, I also bought this game but the board doesn't stay on. I put the game in the Wii and when they tell me to press the board for 5 seconds, I do it, it blinks and then turns off. How can I make it work?
    Thank you in advance.

Hi boys! It's working! We turned on the Wii. Then we enter the game and you turn on your board by pressing the power button for 5 seconds. After that, plug in the square connector and press the little button there as well. The calibration starts, good luck!

Okay, it works well this way. I couldn't manage it; with your method, it worked the first time. Thank you, great advice :-) And I confirm that as soon as the calibration is finished, there's no need for that much space anymore, we can put the furniture back in place, lol.

We had the same problem. I turned the board back on and then plugged the square connector into the Wii. After that, I pressed the square connector again and it worked.
Make sure to reconnect the square connector to your Wii after turning your board on.
    Good luck!

I don't have a solution for now. I can only tell you that it happens to us too. I gave this skateboard to my son for Christmas. Despite all the precautions, we haven't been able to calibrate it.

We have the same problem. We can't calibrate the board. I haven't had time to try again since this weekend. Tomorrow, I will use the Valodes method. Otherwise, I will go to the store's customer service where I bought it. See you later.

Valodes, good evening, could you tell me if, after calibrating the board, it is always necessary to have 1.20m of clearance? This is just in case your solution works. Thank you for your reply.

Wow! I think they stuck the Tony Hawk surface upside down; during the calibration make sure the adjustment buttons are on the left!!!!!!!!!!!
