Error 32002 - Wii Update Problem

Question

Hello,

I have a problem with my Wii; the internet works (news and weather channels) but for the shop channel, it requires an update, so I'll do it, but it gets stuck at 1%. I wait, and after about 5 minutes, an error message appears: 32002. I checked the Wii website to see what this error corresponds to.
And it corresponds to this:
(The Wii console could not receive an update from Nintendo due to a technical problem with our servers. Please try again later.)
The problem is that it has been a week, and it still says the same thing, so I would like to know if anyone else has the same issue as me or if someone can explain how to resolve this problem.

For my part, I had the same problem, with the same symptoms. I solved it by going to the contract/contact in the internet menu of the Wii. I accepted the terms of the contract, just like when you install a game, in fact... And this resolved the issue. If you read the contract, you can see that it’s a contract protecting Nintendo from the use of its internet service. So for my part, it seems logical to me that the Wii locks itself if you have not accepted the terms of use...
Exactly like when you refuse to accept the installation contracts of games and they reboot themselves.

Anyway, I may have had a stroke of luck, but it seems logical to me...

go to your router in the wireless options  and indicate that you want to use channel 1 (I had channel 6 by default and changing it fixed everything)

or we're all just unlucky
I think it's a mix of both because in my opinion Nintendo wouldn't take the risk of not making money for that long (I certainly wouldn't ^^)
so we can only wait (or change the router channel, for those with Free, head to free.fr >> internet options, personally I'm too lazy to try all the channels until I find the right one, I'd rather just wait)
oh but I'm really glad to see that I'm not alone =D

At first, I didn't read the contract, I just accepted it directly, so I read the contract thoroughly until the last line and I accepted, and since then it works.

If you really can't connect it either wirelessly or locally (with a cable), it means you should take it to a repair shop. Otherwise, I'll tell you the way you want to go: go to the Wii menu, then Wii Settings, Internet, Connection Settings. Choose one of the 1, 2, or 3 options, but anyway it's explained on the official Wii website. If that doesn't work, it means that the code you wrote is incorrect. That's it.

Hi!
So I think I have THE solution that works with a Livebox.
You will access the configuration page via this address:
http://192.168.1.1
Section "Wireless"
- You need to change the Livebox channel to channel 11 (often the default)
- If you have changed your Wi-Fi password to WPA, make sure you have set it to Auto (AES + TKIP)
(If you are using WEP, do not change anything)

Now let's configure the Wii
In the settings, select Internet then one of the available boxes.
Fill in the following fields:

IP Address: 192.168.1.37
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

Enter your WPA or WEP key

Wait before clicking OK for the test.

Press the sync button on your Livebox and then start the connection test, everything should be working now :)
