Restoring Ubuntu dashboard

Hello, I am on Ubuntu 10.10 and I accidentally deleted the top panel
I would like to restore it to default without having to recreate it, please.

Configuration: Linux / Firefox 3.6.12

    Open a terminal and type the following command

    sudo gnome-panel start

    PS: To open the terminal:
    (keyboard shortcut: alt + F2, then type gnome-terminal)
