Flat screen colors turning pink

Question

Hello,

I bought a Sony flat screen a few months ago, a Bravia to be specific. The screen is connected to the computer via an HDMI cable, and I duplicated the displays in the display manager so that the desktop appears on it.
At first, I had a pink issue on the screen: after twenty minutes, the screen would turn black for a few seconds, then the display would come back but it would be predominantly pink, very pink even... This problem persisted for a few days but disappeared for several months. And now it has reappeared recently...
It's the same as before, the screen turns black for a few seconds, then the display turns pink. When I turn it off and back on, the colors are normal, but after a few minutes, the problem returns, same when I unplug the HDMI cable connecting it to the computer.

Does anyone have a solution or an idea?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 4.0

Hello  it has always worked, the TV alone without anything plugged into it does it too.

I don't know, I've always watched TV only via ADSL TV, so the TV is connected to the PC. I will try right away.

I don't think the issue comes from the cable connection (it might be the cable itself). As mentioned earlier, the problem disappeared for several months and has recently reappeared even though I haven't touched the cable.
And when I unplug it and plug it back in, the colors go back to normal; it's only after a while that the colors turn pink.

However, my brother, who has the same screen and is also connected to the PC, does not have this problem. Maybe it's the cable as you said, tarascon2. 
 
Apparently, the problem does not come from the TV because when it's alone, with nothing plugged into it, the colors remain normal.
