Hello,

I just bought an iPod.
To be able to load music onto it, I apparently have to go through iTunes.
Problem: when I install iTunes using the provided CD (just like when I download it from the Apple website), I then cannot open it.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem.
Santa Claus came a week early and gave me an IPOD.
I can't play iTunes, and there's still a problem with Quicktime.

Help!

Hello Violette

I have solved my, or rather our, problem....
Let me summarize the issue with the following steps:
1/ Uninstall QuickTime, iTunes, and iPod from "Start", "Control Panel", "Add or Remove Programs"
2/ Remove all components of QuickTime and iTunes that will probably still remain
Go to "Start", "Search", "All Files and Folders" and enter QuickTime, initially. Then, you just need to go and delete, one by one, all the files that result from the search (follow the paths indicated)
3 / Repeat the operation for iTunes
4/ Reinstall everything and it should work!
