The application failed to start correctly.

Hello everyone,

Since today, when I try to open any of the Office programs, an error window pops up:

"WINWORD.EXE - Application Error

The application failed to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application."

How can I solve this problem? I ran a sfc /scannow scan but nothing was found...

    Hello,

    Start by running a repair for Office.
    Control Panel
    Programs and Features
    On the Office icon, click modify and you should have a repair option.
