Neo simply key user guide help

I would need someone to guide me to install, program, transfer in fact to do everything, because I just bought a neo simply key 512 MB, but I can't do anything with it...
So if someone would be really more than nice to guide me step by step, that would be super cool!

I'm struggling and on the verge of a hysterical crisis

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have the same problem: I bought the simply key 512 earlier.
I was able to turn it on and put songs on it from my Mac.
But that's it.
And of course, there is no user manual!

Hello...

I found with Google:
USB mini player type
No memory extension support
Provided memory 512 MB
Memory capacity 512 MB
Supported file formats MP3 WMA
FM tuner No
Computer connection USB 2.0
Power supply 1 AAA LR03 battery
Dimensions N/A
Weight 40 grams

I conclude:
Is this correct?
Have you installed the driver since W98 does not detect it automatically?
Have you connected it properly?
What do you mean when you say: "that you can't do anything"?

It is on the install CD of drivers.

Hello everyone,
I have read almost everything that has been said here... I haven’t found anyone having the same difficulty as me.

(original way of saying that I have at least one problem and I recently bought my Neo SK 512 Mo) XD

So I installed the software that came with the disk provided with the device. (3 softwares)
My drive is recognized by the CPU (as a removable storage disk)
I can transfer my files of all kinds at a speed of 300Mo transferred in 7 minutes which is about 0.7 Mo/s (I thought USB 2 was faster than that (10 times more >.<)

It was initially formatted in FAT, I tried it, it was slow and I reformatted it in FAT32... nothing changed after that... regarding my 2 problems by the way xD

The transfer speed is therefore my first problem (minor but still there :p)

The second (important for an MP3 player at least) is that when I press the "play" symbol it lights up (no, that's not the problem XD) when I press play a second time nothing happens. (Unless I hold it too long, it turns off, of course ;p)

The "MP3" mode is flashing, I used "the wheel" and went through options while pressing play (stupidly I tried everything in general xD) "rec" "rpl" "I don’t know" ...
My Neo is only used as a storage disk (at a slow speed) (which is already not bad for some xD)

My Windows is version XP... PRO (v 2002 service pack 2 :p)

Could you please help me sort all this out?

(very slow speed)
(unique storage disk function)

It’s a nice object otherwise (big, which prevents me from connecting other stuff next to it xD) and cheap... honestly if it worked properly (100%) it would really be a good deal to have bought the Neo ;p

PS: my CPU can't read the doc in Wordpad (the 2 docs i.e. V English and V French) despite having the "Wordpad" software -____-; no application can read or decode it by the way -___-

Thank you in advance (for giving me some of your time TT)

I think I have been thorough with the info (or almost; my CPU (if it doesn’t have a sound card) or if there is something missing for it to work (a driver?) :p)

I wish you a good day!!!

Hey again!!!!

I continued my research online and after 1 hour, I found:

"try moving the mode button to the right, there’s a menu, you need to set it to MP3 (to play mp3s), then press the mode button (the little ball) and it should work, otherwise, there’s still the play button to press, also check your files which should be wav, mp3, or wma"
repeat:

"then press the mode button (the little ball)"

This is where it was failing...excuse mode on/...uh...my CPU couldn't read the manual...I hadn't thought of that...then I break everything...by the way, I would really appreciate it if someone could send me that famous manual in a text format readable by a simple "notepad" ^______^
I could use it better (

question 1
"What are these famous firmwares for, please?"

Finally, question 2
Why is it so slow (well yeah, I haven't solved that issue)
I connect it to a USB 2 bus...neo SK has a USB 2 high-speed connection...it should therefore reach at least 12 Mo/s if connected to a USB 1 bus (and max 400 something Mo/s) Oo'
I'm far from that with my 0.7 Mo/s TT

Thank you in advance ;p
