No access to my Livebox configuration

Question

Good evening,

I am currently experiencing an issue with my Sagem Livebox purchased a week and a half ago. I am connected to the internet via Wi-Fi and a USB dongle. The Livebox works very well except for one thing:

I cannot access the configuration page of my Livebox; when I select the LIVEBOX CONFIGURATION icon, the internet explorer opens, but the page does not load. Furthermore, I noticed that after this, within the following minutes (maybe 10 or 15 minutes), I lose my internet connection and have to unplug and replug the Livebox.

This problem is particularly bothersome as it prevents me from configuring the Livebox to open the ports used by eMule.

Have you ever encountered this problem? Do you know how to solve it?

is your IP address correct??
ipconfig -> IP in 192.168.1.X, X being between 2 and 254.

also check that access is free, firewall and antivirus can block you.

Are you talking about the XP firewall? Because it's enabled on my computer, but if that was the case, I would have had internet issues, right?

Exactly the same problem for me last night. I click on "livebox" on the browser, the page partially loads but it's spinning and I never get access to the config menus!

A few minutes before, I had tried to start a game in network mode as the host... since the IP number that was displayed corresponded to my livebox... is there a cause and effect?

Hi, I have the same problem!!! After changing my live box due to a breakdown, my connection with the new livebox works but I can't access the interface: I've tried everything in vain: disabling firewalls, antivirus programs, reinstalling and uninstalling, I'm still facing the same issue!!!! Whoever can find a solution for me will be more than welcome!!!!

It reassures me that I am not alone in this situation.

It comes and goes without me doing anything, and there are weeks when it's impossible to connect to the control panel.
I don't want to spend my time unplugging and plugging my Livebox every time I try to connect...

I mean, really, if one month we only pay 20 instead of 40€, do you think they would just go write on the forums that their customers aren't paying? Hi, Have you had any answers since November??? I've been having the same issue for 2 weeks. Everything works well, then all of a sudden no internet connection, and I can't access the livebox configuration. I reset the livebox and it works again. Right now I'm having to do it almost every 2 days. I'm getting tired of entering the username and password, reconfiguring the router, etc... Could it be a worm or virus???  Thank you.

I think I found a solution to my problem.  Now I use Mozilla Firefox to connect to my Livebox interface and since then I haven't had ANY issues.  Maybe the Livebox prefers little foxes over the big blue E's of Internet Explorer. It's true that the fox is still a bit orange (laughs), well it's more of a reddish color for foxes.  Let's stop joking around for a bit!    Try it at home and let us know the test results on this topic.  On my side, everything is perfect!

Hello, I also had the same problem: when I wanted to go to my livebox configuration, it asked for my username and password. I re-entered it at least 5 times, and it told me that I was not authorized. If you have the same problem, type admin (username and password) I hope this will help someone See you!

I have the impression that I have a much more complicated situation than yours. I can log into my Livebox as admin admin and then I can browse everywhere in basic or expert mode, but when I go to the LAN tab to open the ports needed for my torrent to work properly, my connection drops and my internet page tells me there's an internet service interruption, as if the box doesn't want me to open the ports for the torrent... Hello everyone I had the same problem and I struggled for several days. I called Orange's hotline and we stayed on the phone for at least an hour and nothing was resolved I tried one last thing, which was to completely uninstall the Livebox and reinstall it, and since then it works. So the Livebox hotline...............besides charging for the call!!!!! That's it, see you later!

same problem, the admin password does not work after changing a faulty Sagem livebox for another newer one, still from the Sagem brand. even after a reset reboot of the livebox and even after rolling back a week from the installation, an expert is supposed to call me tomorrow, but if anyone has a solution, that would be great, hoping that at worst the so-called expert will fix the problem for me.

I had a guy come to fix my internet connection which had been down for 13 minutes. When I called, they told me there was a connection problem. The guy comes and says he fixed it. When I asked him to check inside, he told me it would cost 53 euros. When I went back to him, I said no, it’s the box that’s causing the issue. Then he agreed. He took a look and told me it was the transformer of the box. I said yes, and he told me not to worry about it. He went to get one, and I can’t manage to restart my box. It’s been 3 days since the machine has been messed up, it's frustrating, sorry for the hassle! lol Thanks for your response ?????????????

At home it's weird when I type 192.168.1.1 (or I just write livebox)  - some days I get to the configuration page of my livebox  - and other days it opens a page with home and preferences but I can't access the configuration page of my livebox   It depends on their mood.

I may have a solution, especially for SFR subscribers: let me explain the situation: while playing BF4, I had a connection problem (which is common), which led me to open port number 80; however, this port was apparently in conflict with another one, and as a result, I lost my landline phone, I had no dial tone. So I wanted to close the port, and then I could no longer access my SFR configuration page by typing my IP as I used to. I found on a website this other way to access the configuration:  You type:  http://192.168.1.1 and there you go, personally, I was able to access my page and close port 80.

I had the same problem last week, I went through Orange's customer support. It turned out that the livebox had an issue. Remotely, they reconfigured the system and then we checked the IP address via MSdos. And since then everything has been working well again and I have access to the settings and no more disconnections. It lasted about 40 minutes... good luck!
