Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem with the viagogo site. I sold tickets for the U2 360° concert on 30/08/10, the event took place on 18/09/10, and my viagogo account states that a payment was sent to me on 22/09/10, yet to this day I still haven't received anything. I really feel like I've been scammed and that I'll never see this payment. Have you had the same experience as me? If so, are there any remedies for this kind of situation? Thank you in advance, as your opinions are very important to me.

I am also very dissatisfied!!
I recently sold two tickets for The Knife concert in May 2013. At first, everything was fine until I noticed that my third ticket for sale had disappeared from the site along with all the others for the same concert. Since then, the designation of my two sold tickets has been "x do not use" (basically, unusable??) even though I have already transferred them to the site (electronic tickets, great for reselling elsewhere now! :/). I have contacted the site multiple times, not always receiving responses. I was called twice, and each time the person from Viagogo couldn’t even tell me what the problem was!!! I was only told in vague terms that it was probably because the date was moved, even though that is absolutely not the case and I am certain of that! (even the venue hosting the band says so).
Today, after yet another email where I continuously demand explanations, I receive no response, but on the site, in the "my account" section, the total of my sales has gone back to €0 instead of over €172, what is this big scam ???? Viagogo sells tickets but does not pay the sellers?? I would really like just simple explanations regarding this problem, nothing more nothing less. Could you do something, please Delphine?? -
I'm taking advantage of this place where it seems there's an opportunity to communicate with a Viagogo representative!!!!
I've read on many forums about a lack of reliability in your services (or those of your suppliers) (last-minute delivery, tickets received in the wrong category compared to those ordered...)
Despite this, I bought (before knowing) 2 tickets for the Lille match on August 17 and 2 tickets for the Madonna concert in Zurich on the 18th.
I have not yet had a problem with Viagogo, and the reason I’m writing to you is to prevent any issues!
My situation is a bit complex; I work in Kazakhstan, and I bought these concert and football match tickets because I'm only returning for a week in August, which requires some organization not without costs (plane to Zurich, hotel...) and I don’t want to ruin everything because of you.
I can't reach anyone at Viagogo.
On your site, you indicate that tickets are sent 2 weeks before, and as of today, I still have not received any news.
Could you simply check the status of my file to ensure that I will receive the tickets on time and in the requested category! Thank you in advance, Ref: 2385122 and Ref: 2385140-
- Still no news!
Should I cancel my flights to Zurich for the Madonna concert, my hotels? In short, ruin my vacation?
I feel like I'm dealing with a service that is completely disorganized and out of control (except for cashing in the money).
When you search online for "concert ticket purchase," you are everywhere, as if you were the only option to buy tickets. I thought you were a trustworthy company.
I am really getting impatient; there are less than 10 days left before the event.
Please give me a concrete answer. That is to say: "You will receive your tickets on this date."
Thank you!!

Hello!
One of your agents called me! I explained my situation to him, and he seems to have understood it well.
He was supposed to gather information from your suppliers and call me back.
But I haven't heard anything since that phone call (on 06/08/12)
If he could call me back with additional information, that would be nice!
Thank you!

I encountered the same problem with a Roland Garros ticket that was resold and for which I was never refunded - I sent numerous emails and two letters to Viagogo in England without receiving a response, so I urge people to resell event tickets or other sporting events through another means - I am surprised that the Roland Garros organization endorses this kind of practice.

Hello, my son sold tickets for Metallica and is still waiting for the payment from your company. To this day, we keep receiving the same email informing us that the transfer will be made???!! but nothing. The transaction on the email is 25779097.
Thank you for responding to us on the site. Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards. -
Hello
I can't help but think like many people. My son sold 3 PSG/RENNES tickets for Sunday, May 13th. As of today, TUESDAY, JUNE 5TH, no payment has been made. We have contacted the buyers who confirm that their bank accounts have indeed been debited. It is impossible to reach anyone at your company.
We hope to hear from you very soon!!!! -
Concert Johnny
Hello,
I am contacting you because I reserved and paid for two tickets for Johnny Hallyday in Antwerp on Saturday, June 9 (Saturday then!) for 256.2 euros for the two seats.
I have not received the tickets, and since I am supposed to be delivered tomorrow, I should have already received an email indicating that the seller had sent the tickets. This is not the case. As noted on your site, we should contact you if we do not have the tickets 72 hours before the date, which is what I have done. There is actually no way to reach you!!! The phone number does not lead anywhere; I tried all the options in the proposed menus, and we get cut off every time, making it impossible to get someone on the line. As for the emails (already 4 sent!), they have not resulted in any response.
I am therefore very unhappy because I need to find tickets; I am wasting my time on the phone or on your site, and that costs me more. Everything is organized for this weekend in Antwerp, and I am not receiving what I paid for. I ask you to find a quick solution, ideally the express delivery of my tickets, or at the very least, a refund so that I can buy others quickly.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon, although I am not too hopeful. I am starting a procedure against Viagogo and am already in contact with Test-Achat Belgium if I do not receive a satisfactory response.
Best regards,

I am also very dissatisfied with the viagogo site. I sold two tickets for the Coldplay concert in Nice on May 2, 2012. I still haven't received the transfer in my account despite an email stating that the payment has been processed. It is impossible to reach them by phone, and I have received no response to my emails. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS SITE AND AM CONSIDERING FILING A COMPLAINT.

Hello,
payment for a sale is made within 4 to 5 working days after the event on the payment method that was registered as a bank guarantee on your seller account (card or bank account, PayPal).
Could you please send us your transaction number by email at ConcertalertFr@viagogo.com if you have not yet received your payment?
If not, I hope you understand that we take all necessary security measures, particularly by paying sellers after the event to ensure that the ticket buyer can report any disputes regarding the receipt and use of the tickets received.
Best regards
The viagogo team-

Hello,
we have received your email. After checking, a transfer was indeed made to the bank account number you provided us during your sale, but the refund was rejected because the bank details entered were incorrect.
We sent you an email requesting your exact bank details on 20/10, but we did not receive a response from you.
We have sent you another email today asking for your bank details again; as soon as we receive them, we will be able to process the payment.
Best regards,
The viagogo team -
I did not receive the email dated 10/20. Moreover, the bank details entered on my Viagogo account contained an error, which I have now corrected. So now I am eagerly waiting for my much-anticipated transfer. In any case, thank you for your responsiveness, hoping that everything gets resolved quickly.

I'm in the same situation, it's outrageous. I've updated my details 4 times, everything is correct and they tell me it's not...
My reference is 2285692 for the ladies' doubles final.
Has anyone filed a report with the fraud prevention department? If so, can I have the reference to join it?
Thank you. -
I'm in the same situation. I sold tickets for the Madonna concert on July 14, 2012, transaction numbers 2079647 and 2079649. I've been trying to get paid for three weeks; they no longer respond to emails and ignore me on the phone, pretending they will resolve my issue. I call every day, and nothing happens. They sent me an initial bank transfer that hasn't arrived, and a few days later, they told me I needed my IBAN. I provided the necessary information and followed all the instructions, but the SWIFT code for my country is not accepted. So I requested a PayPal payment and followed up with them. And nothing at all; it's going to be a month. I should have noticed all the bad reviews online. I'm going to file a complaint!!
-
Hello,
Your payment has failed because your bank details are incomplete.
Please add your IBAN and BIC and we will reset your payment within 24 hours.
Best regards,- It is impossible to update the IBAN; the form does not accept the SWIFT code, so I can't do anything. That's why I'm asking you to pay me via PayPal. How long are you going to make me go in circles? You just need to initiate the payment to the PayPal address provided.
I ask you to do something before I contact the DGGCCRF. You are not serious, and you are trying to buy time while we go around in circles... - My bank has just given me a new BIC number. I have just updated my information on my account, so I am asking you to reprocess the payment to my account with transaction numbers 2079647 and 2079649. I have done what's necessary as requested to avoid going in circles, but I am also asking you to make the transfer on your end with this new information, giving you one last chance before contacting the DGGCCRF.
Best regards

Hello Delphine,
I am extremely angry with Viagogo, you owe me two tickets for Johnny Hallyday whose concert was canceled, Viagogo is no longer responding to my emails, this amount was quite significant and we are not rich!!!!
If you do not refund me, I will post on all possible concert discussion sites, music... etc., and believe me, I will give you bad publicity!!!!!

To the "team" at Viagogo,
I have already sent you a complaint message, in addition to 2 messages on the Viagogo site... with no response. I was charged €26.59 on my CA idf account but I have not received anything from you at my email ***@***: no transaction number and no ticket for PSG-Guingamp this Saturday, August 31... !!!
WHAT SHOULD I DO: CONTACT MY LAWYER TO INITIATE LEGAL ACTION?

Hello,
I sold 1 ticket for the Arctic Monkeys concert at the Zenith in Paris on November 8, 2013. (sale reference: 35409768) It was sold quickly at the regular price (Transaction ID: 3650231) but shortly after, I received an email informing me that Viagogo could not send me my money because supposedly "the bank details you provided are incomplete or incorrect." It’s possible, but I find it hard to believe because given the number of purchases I've made online, this would be the first time I make a mistake entering my details. And coincidentally, it's with Viagogo!!! But just in case... I entered new bank details and sent an email but still no transfer, nor any responses.
Delphine from Viagogo, make sure I receive my transfer QUICKLY because I'm ready to go all the way to get what is rightfully mine!!!
Best regards
Julien -
Hello,
I am initiating legal action because they did not comply with their own terms of sale.
The fact is acknowledged by their customer service, but they do not wish to reimburse me at this time.
Are you interested in a joint action? -
Hello,
Likewise, I ordered 2 tickets for PSG/Barcelona... no confirmation following the order. I contacted viagogo several times, and they confirmed that the order was not placed. I called customer service, and the person did a search by credit card number, name, first name, ticket names, email address, and confirmed to me that my order was not placed. I asked if I could reorder without ending up with 2 transactions, and she replied yes, no problem. I still asked her what to do if I ended up with 2 payments, and she replied that I just had to call them back to request a refund...
Unlucky for me, 2 days later my account was debited 203 euros (2 tickets received) and 265 euros (2 tickets lost in the wild).
I contacted viagogo again, and in 2 minutes they found my first order!! (apparently an email address mistake), even though I was confirmed 3 times that they had no trace of my first order...). So I requested a refund, and I was told that normally there is no refund but that my case would be reviewed...
I am waiting for a response from the dispute service, but the last person I spoke to on the phone clearly told me that there was little chance of a refund.
This is really unacceptable!! Customer service is incompetent!!
A bit lost... if I get a negative response from them, I would potentially be willing to take legal action.
David. -
Est there any legal recourse????? Because they still owe me €300, which is still a small amount.
-
I sadly confirm. It has been a month since I have been waiting for a payment that Viagogo claims to have credited me on May 19. The concert took place on May 15. The buyer paid Viagogo on April 24. I invite you all to file a claim with the court of your residence. It’s free. And for everyone else: avoid this site at all costs. When you, like me, are frustrated because you cannot attend a concert (it was never about making a profit), it’s disgusting.

Hello,
I have been waiting for a payment of €200 from the Viagogo site since June 14th! I sold tickets for Roland Garros!
I have been trying to reach them by phone, but it's impossible! The same goes for email!!!
This is unacceptable!!!! I am thinking of filing a complaint.
My transaction number is: 2236310-
Hello, I have exactly the same problem
I sold two tickets for Roland Garros in April 2012. The tickets were for Thursday, June 7th, on the Philippe Chatrier court. In total, 130 euros.
My transaction number was 2175442 and the listing reference was 7750158.
On the viagogo site, it specifies payment within 14 days after the event + 3 working days.
Today is July 3rd, and still nothing despite two emails sent that went unanswered.
I also don't understand why this site is recommended by Roland Garros if such problems exist.
Moreover, there is no phone number available (or at least, it was deactivated after the last day of the tournament. What is it for then?) -

Hello again,
The FFT number is: 01 47 43 48 00. Ask to speak with the ticket office, they will tell you to be patient, you need to push a bit! They will also ask you to send them an email with the proof of payment from Viagogo.
As luck would have it, I received an email from Viagogo this morning, telling me that there was an error with my IBAN for processing my payment...... to send them an email with the IBAN.
In the end.... it's pathetic! If they do the same operation thousands of times for the many clients waiting for their money, it's very profitable for them!
I will never deal with these people again! -

Hello, as for me, I am outraged by the "service" Viagogo. I sold two tickets for June 3rd (file 2182584). Two weeks later, I received a call from Viagogo where someone told me that I was selling tickets that I had not purchased myself: I explained that my son (who is 14 years old and therefore a minor) is licensed with the FFF, and I was able to buy two tickets for the two of us with an order reference in his name and his license number, but the payment was obviously from my account: my son does not have a Bank Card and is not of legal age to pay online via credit card! The person told me they would take the case back and that I would be kept informed.
Not seeing anything coming, I followed up via the Viagogo site and they responded on July 9th that the transaction was canceled, but the sale did indeed take place!!!
Since then, and despite my follow-ups, no personalized contact, no phone call back despite my requests for this; I am outraged, I have been purely and simply robbed by Viagogo! I want to specify that I obviously have the email confirmation of the ticket purchase, if needed to certify that they indeed belonged to me and that they had been paid for, copy of the bank statement, etc., if necessary!
So one piece of advice: avoid Viagogo, not only because you are not sure you will be paid, but also because it is impossible to have a phone number, an email address, in short, a personalized contact that allows you to clear things up; surely a defensive tactic to avoid taking responsibility!-
Hello,
You have successfully sold two tickets. However, as we previously informed you, the FFT indicated that one of the resold tickets was not sold by the original buyer.
We therefore had to cancel this sale, and the original buyer has been fully refunded for this ticket.
If the tickets were indeed yours in the first place, you have already received a refund from the FFT.
Best regards,
The viagogo team.- Hello,
Have you read all the emails I sent to Viagogo???
1 - I bought 2 tickets through my son, who is a subscriber to the FFT,
2 - As he is a minor, he obviously could not pay, which I did with my credit card (the details are available if needed)
3 - Since I was on a business trip on the day, I proceeded with the resale
4 - I have NEVER received any refund from Viagogo or the FFT
For your information, by listing these tickets for sale on the Viagogo site, a contract is effectively established with your company between the two parties; it is therefore your responsibility to conduct internal checks and with the FFT regarding this payment which was NEVER made.
I therefore expect a thorough review of the case from you in order to finally obtain the refund for my tickets.
Sincerely, Pierre V.

I realize upon rereading that there are a few pieces of information to clarify in addition to the last email above:
- June 3: sales of 2 tickets for the Suzanne Lenglen court - Roland Garros
- My son Benoît is licensed with the FFT, not the FFF...!
This doesn't change the substance of the file, but at least it's more accurate!-
- Cf. previous email:
Do you read what your clients write?!?
Re-read the previous email in the list: my son is a minor,
he does not have a bank account!!!
I do not see how he could have been refunded!
You have my phone number,
perhaps you could take the trouble to contact me
to finally fulfill your obligations: refund me!!!
-
A customer service representative will contact you.
Bank accounts and debit cards are fully accessible to minors.
Best regards- Hello to all the readers of this site,
What I'm about to explain will tell you more about Viagogo, its ethics, and its professional integrity.
As promised by Delphine (Viagogo) above, I was indeed called back today.
It took X messages to get to this result...
After an initial exchange with the person I spoke to on the phone (a man, very nice), I understood the regulation well.
Re-explaining my case once again, my interlocutor asks me for a moment and then responds that it is the FFT that refused the payment for the tickets...
I therefore ask him to indicate the reason so I can understand why.
Another waiting time, then this response: the FFT did not accept the sale and it has therefore been canceled, considering that it was a fraud and that I was not the true owner of the tickets!!!
AT NO TIME did Viagogo convey this information to me following the sale on April 21;
AT NO TIME did Viagogo seek to confirm or deny this erroneous information from the FFT;
AT NO TIME did Viagogo inform me of the cancellation of the sale.
It is August 6, and I am obtaining this information 2 months after the date of the concerned event!!!!
Even more astonishing: when I ask Viagogo who I can contact at the FFT, my interlocutor refuses, eventually giving me a name taken from the FFT website, who of course can do nothing for me....
The best part: when I ask to speak to a supervisor to obtain the contact details of the relevant service at the FFT, my interlocutor responds that he is not allowed to disturb him, that he doesn’t want to answer the phone!!!
In short: when you sell your tickets in good faith, know that if there is a problem, Viagogo does not warn you BEFORE the event in question, that Viagogo does not seek to resolve the discrepancies between Viagogo, a federation, and a Client, and that Viagogo does not care about its Clients.
I lost €120, that's nice...
By the way, what was the problem? 2 tickets purchased for Roland Garros for June 3, in the name of my son (since he is a licensed FFT member, a perfectly legitimate purchase), but with my first name, since payment was made by credit card (at 14, one doesn’t have a credit card!); therefore, with these different names, I am seen as a fraudster... Mind-blowing!
Even if the FFT has its share of responsibilities, Viagogo is for me the site to avoid; I should have read the X customer reviews about it on various forums...

Hello,
for the information of Viagogo clients:
I contacted the FFT (French Tennis Federation) regarding my canceled ticket sale, and the outrageous responses given by Viagogo.
I thank the FFT for offering me a solution that compensates for the damages suffered.
I do not thank Viagogo, which did not communicate in a timely manner (since AFTER the validity date of the tickets!!!), the problem encountered, and which also fed me nonsense for 2 months.
So a good piece of advice: forget Viagogo, for my part I do not miss an opportunity to share my experience with this company that, coincidentally, is not based in France but in Switzerland, making it almost untouchable, and for which you never have any contact details, whether an email or a phone number.
I was a gogo trusting them, that’s over!

Hello, I also had the same problem. I have been waiting for the payment of my sale for several weeks, even though I received an email indicating that the payment had been made.
I am having difficulty contacting the site, and my issue remains unresolved.
The reference of my transaction is: 2045793
I hope that the payment will be made as soon as possible. -
Hello
It's funny, I'm experiencing exactly the same issues:
- Same automated responses
- Same requests for IBAN confirmation
and still no payment.
I don't know if Viagogo is trying to buy time or if they just want to mess with me...
I sold two tickets for the Bruce Springsteen concert on July 4th and I'm still waiting for the payment. My transaction reference is 2264251.
When I think that on the day of the concert, I ran into a good fifteen people looking for tickets, it really gets to me.... -
Hello.
Have you received your payment?
Because I had the same issue, thank you. -
I've had my tickets for sale for over 2 weeks and they still haven't published them, supposedly because they're "under verification."
