Hello,

During my last mobile purchase online, I was delivered a USIM card. When I went to the Orange store and called them, no one was able to answer me.
Who does this serve?
Best regards,

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.10

It's just a smart card, an improved version of the SIM, dedicated to 3G telephony. Hence its second name "3G SIM."

    Thank you for your responses,
The problem is that I don't know how to use it.
    1. Moreover, initially, on my old phone, how do I retrieve all my contacts from my general directory to the SIM directory considering that by doing the maneuver, only part of it was copied (I think it's a memory issue).
    2. And how to transfer all my contacts to the USIM or the new SIM provided? Are you with me?

    Not easy for me ...

    Thank you for your insights,
    Sincerely,

Well, either you transfer your contacts from the old phone to the PC by connecting it to the latter, then you export them to the new phone in the same way.

Or you put all your contacts on your old SIM card, then put the SIM card into the new phone, and copy all the contacts to the phone; then you put your USIM card into the new phone just like a SIM card.

I can send them via Bluetooth.

Well, 3G technology or UMTS. If you prefer, it's the third generation of cellular systems (video, internet, etc...)

The data rate will be higher in 3G than in 2G.
