I am outraged by the behavior of this insurance. When I moved the oven I had ordered (DE DIETRICH) to set it up, the glass shattered (maybe a defect?). I therefore reported the claim, and the insurance refuses to cover it. The reason given: I did not break it! Incredible but true. To simplify, if I receive an oven that breaks at the slightest contact, I am not covered; if I drop it from the third floor... maybe... A blatant theft! As a loyal customer of this store, I am more than astonished to see such behavior. It is true that the welcome message on the insurance company’s (SPB) phone line is quite clear, even suspicious, as it informs you upfront that you should remain courteous during the conversation... It seems to me that with such behaviors, many customers must get upset... Run away!
Run away!!! Do not pay by credit card at all; they deduct money indiscriminately without authorization while keeping your bank details, even though I hadn't registered them.

Send a formal notice to reimburse within 10 days, sent by recorded delivery. Specify that if you do not get satisfaction, you will take legal action.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained
2 packages never received, refunded only after a PayPal claim.
After this inconvenience, Cdiscount asked "advantage Macif" to remove about €8 discount on orders that I supposedly canceled, when I actually received and paid for them.
Enough is enough, everything has its limits; I am waiting for a commercial gesture before making my purchases on foreign sites. It's a shame it has come to this.

Cdiscount practices aggressive pricing like many others. On vacation, therefore less on my guard, I was tempted by an offer on the Galaxy Note 20 listed at €599. I ordered 2.

I've got the two phone boxes in the carton, except one is empty. I was smart to open it in front of the pick-up person.
I call Cdiscount who tells me they will refund me after various searches and requests for a sworn statement. OK normal, this rather "healthy" call means I order the 2nd phone not received for my gift (when I say I’m naïve on vacation...).
I receive my refund a few days later and it’s a big surprise. Cdiscount refunds me €289 out of the €599 I spent on the phone. At first, I think it’s just a simple mistake and I contact them. In fact, I step into another world where common sense is banned and where everything is set up to disgust you. The person I have on the phone explains to me that I benefited from a €620 discount on my order. That the phone was initially worth
€909 and that therefore €909-€620 = €289... a simplistic but above all stupid calculation. I benefited from a €620 discount because I bought TWO phones, so the phone that was worth €909 - €310 (discount) = €599. This matches the price I paid. And it's impossible to make Cdiscount understand that I paid 2 times €599 and that therefore they must refund me €599 and not €289. They remain in their world deducting all of the discounts received. Incredible such bad faith!
In fact, if I had bought 3 phones, I would owe them money!!
Cdiscount has unacceptable behavior. If they are not thieves, they certainly imitate them well.
Do as you see fit, but the more discount you get, the more you risk losing big if a problem arises...
And when I think that I ordered the phone from them. I was lucky with this 2nd order, it arrived with its box.
I forget... of course, you are told that a manager will call you, which never happens. You receive emails saying the same thing, to which it is impossible to reply. The email address is, in fact, “donotreply@...".
They certainly don’t want to be bothered by customers...
1) A phone paid for over €600 that has never worked and impossible to get a refund. They keep passing us back and forth between the actual seller of the item and the claims service
2) I just bought a product whose delivery is not at all in accordance with the order. The "claims" service is equally ineffective, and if you insist a bit too much, you get blocked by the so-called advisors who are actually just there to sell!
