Hello,I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S, which I actually find very good. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but I can't seem to set one of my ringtones for when I receive calls.Can you please help me??Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 532.5

Hello So it's very very simple but there's a trick to do it You have to open the MP3 player on the phone and click at the bottom left and set it as ringtone. There you go.

I also have it on SFR and honestly it's great!!! Unfortunately, it seems to be the kind of thing that could be criticized about this smartphone... I had never looked into the issue, but I just did some research and found nothing.

To change the ringtone on the Samsung Galaxy S II, you need to place the sound file (MP3, MP4,...) in a folder located on the phone (not the SIM card)...
Then, you need to go to Applications > Music > press and hold the name of the sound file and choose Set as ringtone...

I've already created music tracks with Audacity (free)

and set them as SMS ringtones

you need to go to my files, create a new folder "notifications"
install your new ringtones in wav or mp3 (from the computer to the phone) in this new folder

then on the phone: go to the messages screen, where you see the boxes of all your correspondents' messages, click on your phone's left button, go to settings --> select ringtone and there they are (the ones you've added to the notifications folder)
