Hello,
a friend sold me an external hard drive with Wii games on it, everything works very well except I want to add a game that I downloaded but when I plug my hard drive into the computer it asks me to format it, do I have to?
<config>Windows 7

Hello, you don't need to format it unless you don't want to use the hard drive on the Wii anymore.
If it's to put Wii games that you've downloaded, you'll first need to install a program on your computer called WBFS Manager, which you can find here:
https://www.01net.com/telecharger/windows/Utilitaire/sauvegarde/fiches/49788.html
Then you follow the tutorial provided for this purpose on the Wiigen site. -
Thank you, but when I plug my hard drive into the Wii and launch the channel, it either tells me that it’s too slow and I need to turn off the Wii, or it bugs out, the screen turns completely black with a bunch of white numbers on it, and I have to unplug it...

Well, it's because you haven't installed the (cios rev 14 see wiigen tutorial) or you haven't connected your hard drive to the right USB port of the Wii because only one of the two is recognized
do you use wiiflow or usb loader as a channel? -
USB loader, but it worked before and when I added the games and reconnected it like before, it bugs.
