DNS Issue Oleane

Hello,

Currently at work, we're facing a problem that seems unsolvable to me, given my limited networking skills.

We have Oleane (Orange Pro) as our ISP, and in order to access the internet, we need to configure the Oleane DNS (194.2.0.20 and 194.2.0.50) on our Wi-Fi cards (we're all using Macs).
So far, so good.

Where the problem arises is that a consultant came to me saying that depending on the Wi-Fi access point she connects to (for example, at home), she may not have internet access because of the DNS added.

So, two solutions come to mind:

- Is there a way to configure these DNS settings only when she connects to that specific access point at work and have the default settings on others?

- Or is it a lack of configuration at the server/access point level, and is it not normal that we have to configure the DNS on each machine? If so, what should we do?

Thank you very much in advance for your answers :)

Alex

Configuration: Mac OS X / Chrome

Hello,
You need to make sure your DHCP server (I'm assuming that's your access point playing that role) is broadcasting the correct DNS settings. You should be able to modify that easily in the configuration of your Oléane router.
