Hi guys,
I checked the web and I see everyone asking how to increase their virtual memory. But before moving on to that step (which I think I already understand), I would like to know the consequences of such a modification.
I have an ACER Aspire 7715z PC with Windows 7 as the operating system. I'm really worried and I want to know if there is any danger or risk to consider when increasing the virtual memory of my PC?
Thank you very much!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 533.4

Hello,
I advise you not to touch the virtual memory; by default, it is managed by the system and you have 4GB of RAM, which is good if I believe the reference you provide regarding your computer.
Increasing your virtual memory is not dangerous, although it will take up more space on your hard drive.
However, some applications are designed to work with the default settings of Windows, and it is not recommended to modify the size of the virtual memory.
If you want to improve the speed of your OS, it's better to set the programs to launch at startup of the PC.

Try first to update the performance.
Control Panel >>>[search] Performance >>> Update, it takes 5 minutes, if the problem continues let me know. -
Otherwise, a cruel method, go to >>>
Control Panel\System and Maintenance\Performance Information and Tools Then in the left menu, adjust the visual effects and choose either appearance or performance. -
Taskbar and start menu >>> Start menu >>> Custom start menu and then it's up to you to see what works best for you; the fewer things you have, the better it will be.

Yes, it can play a big role. In any case, I had Call of Duty on my PC; at first, it was fine, but gradually it started to bug. A technician came, and he simply told me to clear the cache and streamline the start menu.

Before putting the resolved test Pes if it works, you'll tell us how much you earned :) otherwise, well, I'll be there!

Hello, the only danger that won't happen to you is that your PC explodes because there is too much RAM; it happened once to an American.
On your PC, you can put 5GB; I think that's already too much, 3GB seems reasonable to me.-
My installed RAM is 4GB. So the system can generally use only 3.9GB.
However, I have an application that every time I launch it opens a dialog box saying that my virtual memory is insufficient, stating that there are only 64MB while 128MB is required for the system to launch the application.
Could I consider a solution? -
