Hello
I'd like to know how to remove a "virtual" CD drive created with software like VirtualCD that I unfortunately deleted.
In fact, I don't exactly remember which software it was.
Thank you for your responses

Hello
You need to go to the Device Manager:
Windows key + Pause; Hardware; Device Manager.
Find the corresponding CD/DVD drive, right-click, and uninstall.

Save a PC, eat your Win# CD.
And now you do what they told you, now you're under control!

Thank you for the response, but in the device manager, I only see my DVD reader (D), my DVD burner (E) which are physically present, but there is no CD drive (F) which was created by software
Surely the solution lies in the registry.

Maybe...
I see that at my place, it should normally be the case (do an update) http://byfiles.storage.msn.com/y1p-vv3SQq5cPQFV_4WkRugJVj_7pxELQYXg-1xhTK4eoXMPUsDNrSQaU7rUzNC0v4k
Maybe it’s in a special section in the peripheral manager...
If it's a key in the registry, and we don't know which software it was from, it might not be easy
