Hello,
I unsubscribed from BADOO three months ago and I'm still being charged €7 a month.
UNSUBSCRIBED!! So there's no way to return to the site, it doesn't recognize my address anymore, of course.
No way to reach them by phone;
with the number there's no way to get the address, just a city, PARIS!!!
Orange can't do anything, they send me back to BADOO.
I know that other people have had this problem.
Can you give me a good solution? Thank you all.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello everyone
I am horrified by the actions of the company Badoo towards internet users who had the misfortune of responding to an email containing a message from one of their close acquaintances, friends, or family members. This solicitation, which I would describe as despicable, hateful, and unscrupulous, is a TRUE SCAM in my eyes.
Not only do we fall into their trap by signing up to read this email, but the worst is yet to come. Let me explain:
When you receive your phone bill (mobile), you will notice an excess charge on your plan.
Indeed, during the questionnaire that Badoo had you fill out, you must have simply entered your phone number. And this is when everything fraudulently complicates.
In the details of your phone bill, under the WAP, WEB, or Service Purchase line, you will find charges for calls: €1.50 each!
However, if you are not one of those people who regularly use their mobile phone to access these services, your first reaction will be one of prominent surprise followed by justified anger.
After contacting your provider, they will give you this information: these calls that state 8####: all carry the hidden number: 88018.
This appears as follows on your mobile phone under the "Received Messages" section:
88018
Badoo - Your superpowers have been renewed with this code: 2492. To unsubscribe, send STOP to 88018 (Cost of an SMS).
And finally the date and time of this message.
However, no matter how much you reply with STOP, it doesn't work. Even if you have unsubscribed from this band of crooks, because there are no other qualifications.
The most disheartening thing is that (for example, for my part), I received 5 in August and 2 (so far in September, totaling €10.50 in barely a month!
€10.50 that has been stolen from me.
Note that this is punishable by legal action.
As for me, I have decided to file a complaint and wait for the follow-up.
Worse still: as if that weren't enough, here’s a new MMS message, via (I am convinced) the same gang of criminals, and it carries the number 81136. Geoloc, with a certain SARA who boasts about her "ass shop" and just like Badoo, without consulting me, is taking a sum from me of which I am waiting for the exact figure on the next phone bill.
In conclusion:
Here is a significant SCAM that aims to "strip" citizens without their knowledge, and which deserves, I hope on behalf of the European government, a rapid and impactful legal response. I also hope that damages will be claimed for all those who have suffered from this scam on a national and probably global scale.
If there is justice, then let it be fair, swift, and effective.
Thank you all

Hello, already; it's up to you to try to get out of this as quickly as possible!! Act together? For that to happen, it would require the people here on this site who have been duped to follow this discussion and then?? Get MATERIAL EVIDENCE and write to a consumer association, that could be effective.
For your information, as soon as you pay, it's strange, they talk to you...
Then after, they don't talk to you anymore, but the messages are read, which is not the case if you haven't paid...
With Free, no problem, you cancel, and it's done.
For those who understand.

Hello
it's free but without knowing it, you can get caught up with a ""superpower "" and when you realize it, it's too late!! even if you unsubscribe, you are still charged... orange can’t do anything, I only have the detailed sheet of my withdrawal.
HARD :::::: tacitly RENEWABLE

Is it withdrawals from your bank account?
In that case, contact the bank, they will be able to do something.

Okay with fab7777. They will call you to find out why they can no longer collect, and you can explain your situation to them.
See you later!

No!! unfortunately it’s charged by Orange whom I contacted, but for them I have to talk to Badoo.
Orange assumes that there is a creditor (Badoo) and a debtor (me).

Subject: Re: Badoo subscription
I also had a problem with Badoo; first I signed up for this so-called free site; you browse the site and without realizing it, you check "super powers" and you find yourself charged €7 through Orange. BUT at no point is there a place that tells you that you are agreeing to be charged €7.
As soon as you unsubscribe!! Easy... but unfortunately Badoo continues to charge you through Orange, which claims that you must resolve this issue with Badoo.
I therefore wrote to quite a few addresses to contact them and after 4 months
I received an email... see the following copy-paste
but the months charged I am still waiting for
Badoo IS A SCAM
.. . ...... ...... .... ...... ....
Hello,
We confirm the unsubscription and the refund of your Super Powers Pack.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused and please accept our apologies for this technical problem beyond our control.
Best regards,
The technical team

Today I'm having the same problem; it's an intruder using my MSN address to register on Super Powers, and Orange is redirecting me to Badoo, which cannot be reached by phone and even my complaint message goes unanswered. What should I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since July, I've been charged 7 euros, and this month 10 euros; when is this going to stop?
You need to search on Google and find an address, look up everything concerning Badoo, and I found an address and sent letters to all possible addresses, and I was able to stop my charges, but I think that even if you unsubscribe, your profile is still there. However, I have never been refunded.
Personally, I wouldn't bother; I would ask my supplier to block their payment. If the supplier refuses, I would block theirs (thus my subscription) and take them to court.
Strangely, they always find a way when threatened...

Hello,
I had the same thing happen to me, I was signed up on Badoo and I unsubscribed, so I stopped the SMS service at 88018.
However, one of my friends sent me an email, and I think it didn't come from her, saying that she sent me a message to read on Badoo.
I went to check by entering my email address and strangely they ask me to sign up.
I didn't do it but I'm still being charged every month...
What a scam.
Let's revolt.

Hello,
Same goes for me,
After multiple attempts to unsubscribe via STOP to 88018, I am being charged 3 to 4 euros every month.
I find this unacceptable given that I do not benefit from any paid service with them. It's theft.
I tried to contact Badoo Trading Limited in the UK but it's impossible to reach them and they do not respond to emails...
A solution please because my service provider SFR cannot do anything to stop the receipt of these texts.
Best regards,
P. Maxime
