Lock icon surrounded by an arrow on iPhone Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, good evening, depending on the time

In a few words (or more, of course), I don't quite understand what the padlock surrounded by an arrow next to my iPhone's battery percentage represents.

It's an iPhone 3GS 32GB, not jailbroken and officially unlocked
(purchased in Belgium).

What do you say, doctor(s) HowDoesItWork?

Hi

You have left the portrait mode locked (which means that if you tilt it, the screen does not tilt with it).

To remove it, you need to double-click the home button and swipe from left to right, you will find a gray icon all the way to the left. Tap on it and you will unlock landscape mode.

I'm not responding to your question, but I have a problem with my BB Curve 8520. When I try to connect to App World, it doesn't work; it tells me that an error has occurred, please try again later. I tried again the next day, and it's still the same. I noticed that at the top right when I open App World, there's a closed padlock. Thank you in advance for your responses.

This is the locked portrait mode. You can go to settings/general/the side button is used to... And there you choose lock rotation. Thanks to that, your lock will disappear!

Thank you :) To block landscape mode again on the iPhone, simply do the reverse :-) Double click on the home button and look for the icon on the left.
