E90 message on EPSON printer

Hello,

I’m starting to despair: I can’t "fix" the problem with my EPSON STYLUS DX6050 printer. When I turn it on, the E90 message appears.

Thank you for helping me solve this frustrating issue.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

    This is usually a mechanical issue involving the right or left gears.
    In most cases, it’s a foreign object that is blocking the gear's operation.
    To fix the issue, remove the printer cover. Then, detach the cover under the scanner part, taking care not to damage the wires while disconnecting them.
    Remove the foreign object: it could be a piece of paper, a paperclip, or a staple.
    Reassemble everything and reconnect the wires.
