Hello,
I want to buy an Xbox 360 and flash its drive...
I only have a laptop without a PCMCIA port, so I can't connect a SATA cable.
I have an external hard drive that I can connect to my PC via USB. The hard drive inside is connected via SATA, so I'm wondering if I can flash the drive by connecting it this way...

I don't think I'm going to flash my Xbox, just its drive...

Flashing your Xbox carries risks (console death).
And you should know that you can no longer play on Xbox Live once it's flashed.
