Hello, in order for my Xbox 360 to recognize my external hard drive, I understand that I need to format it to Fat32. For that, I have to empty it of all the files it contains. When I want to transfer all my audio and video files to it, will my PC still recognize it even if it's in Fat32? If not, how can I transfer my files to it? Thank you!

with Fat32Formatter, you need to create two partitions of 1 TB each

Hi,

In FAT32, the PC will recognize the hard drive.

The downside is that files larger than 4 GB cannot be copied onto it.

Well, small problem.. The formatting doesn't work with the console. So, I reverted to Fat32Formatter. Everything goes well until I start formatting. A window appears telling me: Incorrect parameter. Then several windows indicating that some things have "failed."

Does anyone have a solution?

In Fat32formatter, I have tried several times to delete the partition and format it, and I always get the same message..

Is your disk in a USB case?????

And are you trying to format it on a Windows PC?????
It's the Windows Disk Management.

With Windows, and yes in a USB enclosure. It's a Seagate Backup Plus of 3T.

under Windows 10
right click on the Windows logo => Disk Management

under Windows 7
click on the Windows logo => right click on Computer => Manage => Disk Management

Disk Management does not allow formatting in Fat32, only in NTFS or Exfat.

FAT32 is only possible on disks smaller than 2TB, if I'm not mistaken.

Salut, can a 2TB disk be formatted in Fat32 or is it really limited to below 2TB? That could solve my problem.

Do not rely on the size available in disk management on the PC but the actual size.
So you should create several partitions (2) to format them in FAT32.
