Disassembling an LG Flatron W2234S Monitor

Hello,

I have an LG Flatron W2234S screen that is just over a year old, so out of warranty, and it has a total power failure. No lights at all. I ruled out a problem with the wall outlet or power cord. So, I need to work on the internal power board. Either it's a fuse, or it’s a bit more complicated, but I don't expect anything too serious.
The problem is, I feel like a chicken with a knife: not a single screw to remove, and I haven't figured out how to unclip the case. Does anyone have any ideas???

    No, you have to do it gently. Take a flat screwdriver that is wide enough and wedge it between the two parts, then turn the screwdriver, and you'll hear a click; that's the thing coming apart. Continue around your screen like that.

    Sometimes the screws are hidden behind covers; otherwise, it should be clipped, but in that case, be careful—it breaks easily.

      I may strain my eyes, but I see no cache. I fear I will have to resort to violence, though I would have preferred to avoid that...

      I opened mine. There are no screws. You have to unclip it from underneath, being careful with the button panel. By prying it open with a flat screwdriver, it eventually opens, and you easily access the two circuit boards.

    I have the same issue with my screen, and the same trouble dismantling it. Did you find the problem with the screen?

    I just disassembled one, you need a flat screwdriver of about 3/4mm.
    With your fingers resting on the edge of the screen in front, apply pressure outward on the external casing, you'll see the metal of the screen's edge appear underneath, slide the screwdriver in, and gently yet firmly, go around the screen like this, it is difficult to disassemble but we can do it.
    I only broke one clip!
    Be careful, the power supply is not secured but wedged by the back part.
    Moreover, the 150uF 400V filter capacitor remains charged even after being disconnected for a long time!
