I am looking for software that allows converting avi and mpeg formats to 3gp.

    you just need to download the nokia multimedia software and it will convert your videos to 3GP. it takes a little while for movies, but it's pretty nice on the phone. it compresses by about 10.

    The best for converting to 3GP (the video format for mobile phones) is the XILISOFT software because it allows you to convert several videos at the same time.
    Of course, it is paid, but if you're resourceful, you can find it cracked through P2P.
    Otherwise, there's NOKIA MULTIMEDIA CONVERTER (it works on other mobile brands) but the quality is lower, the compression takes longer, and you have to compress the videos one after the other.

    Does it work the other way around? Converting from 3GP to AVI or MPEG?
