Convert DivX to DVD (or VCD, SVCD) ?

Hello, can someone help me figure out how to convert files to be able to read on a standard DVD player???
I'm using Super CD Creator but I don't understand anything... I have over 1 hour and 30 minutes of film and it creates a VOB file (?) of 2 minutes...
If you could explain it to me or recommend a simpler program...

    I recommend RealPlayer; it has a converter and a video burner
    I often use it to convert my AVI and DivX files to VOB

      It is powerful and especially easy to use.

      All formats to DVD guaranteed. The only thing missing for this video converter is the French language.....

    I use CUCUSOFT and it works great. The license costs €20 and you won't be bothered.

    another solution
    is to use Nero Vision Express and Nero Recode
    it works like a charm
    finally it takes some time
    and it’s much easier to use than log of ............ (tmpenc)
    plus we can also convert DVD9 to DVD5

    Bonjour à tous, peut-on mettre des DivX sur DVD avec Nero 6.3.1.15 ? Si oui, comment ? Ou avec Record Now Sony ou autrement ? Peut-on le faire avec Nero Vision Express et où puis-je le trouver ? Faut-il un logiciel particulier pour graver et comment fait-on ? Merci d'avance.

    Hi Ced,
    first of all, a little punctuation doesn't hurt!
    Then, yes, it's possible to convert with Nero Vision Express, but not with the other software you mentioned.
    To buy Nero Vision Express, go to the Nero website and download a trial version, try it out, and if you like it, you can purchase it (everything about purchasing is stated in the trial version).

      Hey,
      I tried DivXtoDVD, it gave me VSO ConvertXToDVD, which seems to be its successor? After almost 2 hours of encoding, a message appeared:
      insufficient memory.......
      Is it because my computer's virtual memory caused the encoding to fail??? If so, I've freed up some space but I'm afraid to start again after hours of waiting.
      What should I do and how can I download DivXtoDVD 0.3, I can't find it.... thanks everyone

    I recommend it to you... except that it is in English!

      Salut Mike, je ne suis pas experte en informatique, mais je grave pas mal de films en DivX car je n'ai pas trouvé de logiciel pouvant m'aider à les mettre sur DVD. Te serait-il possible de m'envoyer le lien pour télécharger DVD Creator ? Je te remercie d'avance.

        allo, I use convertxtodvd you can find it with a license on mininova. Be careful not to download the demo because there will be a popup every 5 minutes on your dvd cio.

    Hello, I also use DIVX TO DVD but it doesn't work, my DVD player can't read it. I tried DVD SANTA and it works, but the sound is out of sync... do you have a solution? Thank you.

      No lies, because Davideo 3 and even 4 can convert DVDs to DivX but not the other way around.

    Hello, it's a paid software (60 euros) with no trial version to try, so I can't take the risk because with CUCUOFT, which is also paid but has a trial version, I managed to convert one divx out of two... I wouldn't want to have the same problem... Thank you anyway for your response.
