It must be on your hard drive. Do a search on your PC to find where these files are located.

I have the exact same problem as you. I reinstall it correctly and then, pffffuiiit, no trace, not even in the program search. What is this bug? Did you find a solution? This is the first time I see this kind of plan.

Most programs use the same file to install or uninstall.
it's just that you need to read what the assistant does
or, since it's an assistant, I suppose you just click Next, Next, Next without taking the time to read.
and therefore by launching it a second time, you delete the program...

I have exactly the same problem. I regularly use Google Earth. This morning, when I booted up my PC, there was no trace of Google Earth. Doing a search on the hard drive, I only find install files or icons.
I download from the Google Earth site, run the installation, and at the end a dialog box says "Thank you for installing Google Earth," so I conclude the reinstallation went smoothly. And yet, there is still no trace of the software, not even in the Program Files folder.
In the end, I found the .exe in C:\Program Files (x86), and it works....
However, by reinstalling it, I lost all my favorite places that I had created...
