Hello,

A Deskjet 845c printer is producing pages with every other line printed correctly. Is it more likely to be an empty cartridge or dirty print heads?

First, I suggest you restart your printer. Then go to Start/Settings/Printers/ and choose the 845c. Go to properties/print a test page in the general tab... you should also have a Configuration or maintenance tab and perform a nozzle and print head cleaning... After that, reprint a test page, if it doesn’t work... either change the cartridge or burn your printer :-) !!

    Good luck!

    Hi,
I'm not sure if it's the cartridge or the print heads, but the advantage (?) is that when you buy a new ink cartridge, you also change the print heads. (for HP printers)

Little by little, we become less small :)

Before you set your printer on fire, clean the nozzles and align them... Generally, that resolves a crappy print.

And see if there are any newer drivers available than the ones you are using.

    Good evening everyone,

That's not accurate for the HP-2000 which has 4 ink cartridges + 4 print heads!

    Hi
I'm having trouble with this toy too!
I performed maintenance on my printer,
and all that's left is to sacrifice it!
I'm running on XP, and my photo prints
are terrible: the colors are not
accurate, the borders are not straight, and
    big lines are appearing!
It used to work fine before!?
    Another mystery on XP.
I masked the problem by changing the quality
of the paper (switched to photo), if someone
can hear me before I throw it out the window!
Watch out, I live in o!
