Printing issue with HP LaserJet CP2025 for multiple pages

Hello,

Every time I print more than one page on my HP LaserJet CP2025 color printer, the printer performs a cleaning after printing the first page.
Everything was normal until the printer started having this problem. I cleaned it, but the issue still persists. What could be causing this problem?

    Hello,

I have the same problem but on both pages. Once the printing is resumed, the second page is printed again. This results in a yield of 1 page 1, 2 pages 2, 1 page 3, 2 pages 4, 1 page 5, 2 pages 6, etc.
Furthermore, for some time now, black, magenta, cyan, or yellow stripes have been overlapping the print. The stripes are horizontal.
This can happen on one or several pages...
Could it be that the drum is causing this? Should the optics be cleaned?
I found nothing in the printer's manual.
Thank you also for your help.
    Best regards,

      Hello,

Exactly the same problem... It looks like planned obsolescence. HP is mocking everyone...

    Hello,

Sorry for the late response, but I have also just encountered this problem: the printer prints 1-2 pages, then indicates "cleaning" and finally goes into error... and this happens in a loop.

    Solution found:
    1. turn off the printer
    2. unplug its power cable
    3. hold down the "Power" button for 5-10 seconds (to discharge the internal capacitors from any residual voltage)
    4. plug it back in and turn on the printer

On my side, this worked. If the error persists, it is likely a defective component.
