Hello,
1/Vijeo Designer - XBT GT 2110 - Transfer impossible.
I am working with Vijeo Designer for the first time.
I created my project for an XBT GT 2110.
I have correctly configured the USB transfer mode.
I powered on the XBT and the PLC.
I connected it via the USB port (the only communication port with a console) using the XBT ZG 935 cable.
I checked that I have the right version of Vijeo: I have 5.0.0.
I verified that I have the correct drivers in "DRIVER MANAGER": PLC USB Driver installed.
Windows tells me that I am communicating properly via a XBT "ZG935/USBB" cable.
I restarted the PC, Vijeo Designer as well, switched the cable direction.
I tried rebooting the touchscreen.
I tried with a new empty project.
The problem:
The "Transfer to USB" button (below "Start device simulation") is grayed out. The same goes for "Generate>Transfer target", as well as its shortcut.
- What have I forgotten to transfer my project to the XBT
2/ Recovery of a Vijeo Designer Project Backup.
Upon the last startup of my project, I received the friendly message:
"Unable to open the project XXXX.
The project may be used by another person.
It may also be missing or corrupted."
Nothing else or access.
I made a copy, Vijeo Designer finds it and gives me the same message -> it is therefore not missing.
It is indeed corrupted.
I did not experience any crashes of Vijeo Designer or Windows.
In my project folder, I have 5 files named "AutoBackup005.bkm", I think it is possible to partially recover my project from this type of file.
- What could have "corrupted" my project?
- How to best recover a corrupted project.
3/ Online help.
I regularly work with Siemens, and on their site, there is a great database of FAQs, examples, and function presentations.
On Schneider, I only found, through Google, a few FAQs, 80% of which are in English.
- Where do you search when the software help is not enough?
Thank you to those who will provide their assistance.
