Hello
your help please for the user manual of "Any DVD".
Wanting to make backups to keep the purchased DVDs safe from little fingers, and since the DVDs are protected, I followed the advice found on the site and downloaded "Any DVD".
I installed it in programs/file, and the only window I found was the settings one, but after that, I did not know what to do to start the copy.
Do I need to register even if I don’t want to buy the software right away?
I didn’t find any command to start it.
In the known software window, there is already "Nero".
Thank you very much for your help.

Hello.

It's relatively simple:
1. download
2. installation
3. automatic operation in the background

Everything is explained in the manual "index.html" installed under the directory "C:\Program Files\SlySoft\AnyDVD\manual\fr" which is here...

[System requirements:
- IBM PC computer with a Pentium-type processor at 500 MHz.
- Windows 2000 or Windows XP with 64 MB RAM.
- Required disk space: 1 MB
- You must be an Administrator to install AnyDVD.

Installation:
Before installing AnyDVD, make sure you are logged in as an administrator or have administrative rights. The installer will guide you through the installation in a few seconds. Please restart your computer after installation. On the desktop, you will then find the AnyDVD icon and in the taskbar, the AnyDVD Tray Icon.

Manual:
AnyDVD is a filter driver and works invisibly on your computer. You simply need to insert a CSS-protected and/or region-coded DVD into your DVD-ROM drive. Everything else is done by AnyDVD independently. AnyDVD automatically removes CSS and RPC from your computer transparently during playback or copying. You do not need to save the content of your DVD to the hard drive.

The only thing you need to keep an eye on is to check if AnyDVD is running and activated. After installation, this is done by default. If you cannot see the Tray Icon in the taskbar, it means that AnyDVD is not running!

Desktop icon: With a simple double click on the desktop icon, you can launch AnyDVD, the Tray Icon then appears in the taskbar.

Tray Icon menu:
- Activate AnyDVD: AnyDVD must be activated to function.
- Settings...: You can specify different settings here.

Region Code: Usually, you do not need this function. The required region code is always adjusted automatically. But there are special cases (especially with American DVDs from the United States) where automatic selection does not work. If this is the case, please look for the region code on the package and insert it here.
Removal functions: You can remove certain functions such as the region code, analog protection, and user prohibited operations (like forced subtitles)

Help...: You can load this help file here.
SlySoft website... http://www.slysoft.com/fr/ : With a click you can visit the developers' website.

- Auto-launch: If auto-launch is enabled, AnyDVD will launch at every machine startup. If auto-launch is not enabled, you can start AnyDVD anytime by double clicking the desktop icon.
Quit: Used to exit AnyDVD, if necessary in certain isolated cases.]

No problem with DVD Shrink v 3.2.0.16 for backup or with CDBurnerXP Pro 3 or Nero Premium v 7.2.0.3b for burning!

Best regards.

Hello,

I would like to know where the video is installed after AnyDVD scans it so that I can use it with DVD Shrink.

Thank you!
