Hello,
Here is my problem: in Excel 2003, I protected a workbook with a password.
Today in Excel 2007, I would like to remove this password. We agree that I know the password and that I still have access to the workbook in question.
But my various attempts to remove the password in 2007 have been unsuccessful. I specifically went through the Review function, but nothing worked.
Thank you in advance

Hi,
Start by opening your file in Excel 2007, then click on the Office button/Save As/at the bottom of the dialog box click on Tools/General Options/in the password for reading you will notice dots representing your encrypted password, delete them and save

Thank you so much.
My main issue is that I can't insert a tab in my sheet like I used to. So I'm stuck updating the payroll file of a company with the new arrivals. Thank you for your help.
