Hello,
I’ve had a Dell Vostro 1720 for about 6 months.
for about 1 month now it makes very annoying system beeps, and especially since we can’t see the cause (service info and me)
the battery removed there are still beeps
we updated the network driver still beeps
no particular message in alerts ...
in short mystery and especially annoying because sometimes it’s a melody more than a nuisance
there’s no regularity, no particular reason ... in short ..
if you have an idea of the cause
and solutions thank you very much ...

I've had the same problem for a few days on a Vostro 1710: it beeps continuously at startup. The only way to stop the beeps and boot is to press F12 (which is supposed to show the boot menu, but in my case it doesn't display anything; it just allows booting). I will contact support (I'm still under warranty) and will provide more information if I have it.
