Hello,
I bought concert tickets on the Viagogo website. I was charged, but so far I haven't received my tickets. I read on the site that it's likely I won't receive them until two weeks before the event. I would like to know if anyone has ever purchased anything from this site and if they encountered any issues.
Thank you in advance.

Hello
The ViaGogo site is a 'Delaware' law site (in the United States), so it is outside the jurisdiction of the European Union.
Therefore, it is useless to wait for a potential refund.
And of course, no recourse is possible, since this site is not under EU law. The prosecutor will unfortunately only be able to dismiss the complaint.
The ideal situation is to avoid using this site.
See you later.-
In fact, it's a response that interests me because I got taken "like a beginner" since I didn't really see that the VAT had been added without my consent, so I simply say that I will NEVER use VIAGOGO again since my complaint has gone unanswered, and I also invite you to think carefully when you want to buy something, the rights of the EU, we couldn't care less!

I had booked tickets for the Supercross in the United States and the payment had been made, however the site was unable to find the requested tickets a week before the event, so the amount was refunded to me very quickly.
I had also ordered tickets for another show but I made a mistake and had to resell them on the site. My refund is being processed after the event.
You just need to fill in the bank details correctly for the refund, and follow the steps for the electronic ticket delivery.

The Viagogo system looks good on paper. But it quickly derails in practice.
In essence, it allows you to obtain tickets for various events even when all the tickets have already been sold. The "exchange market" system makes sense here, and it's always nice to find what you're looking for when official ticketing is sold out.
The thing is, some people have turned this system into a real business. And judging by the comments here, I'm not the only one who had the (bad) surprise.
Basically, you pay double or even triple the price for tickets. By the way, it seems to me that in France, the law prohibits selling tickets for more than the price printed on the ticket. Now, since Viagogo is based in London, that certainly changes the game. Viagogo thus allows these prohibited sales in certain countries and also makes a profit on the transaction. They take the cream and the money from the cream, and I find that questionable from an ethical standpoint.
On top of that, there are all the little clever ones who have fully understood how this works and use this platform to make money: they buy the most sought-after tickets for major events, then resell them on Viagogo at a higher price than the purchase price. It's all profit for them, and they don't take much risk on big shows: Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga often sell out during their tours.
The result is what we see in this topic: many problems related to ticket delivery, which rarely match customer requests. The sellers are not there to "help" buyers but rather to take advantage of them as much as possible.
You pay for a product and hope it matches what was indicated in the ad. It's almost like playing the lottery.
There is no transparency in the process, and I find it more than dubious. Now, if someone from Viagogo has the time to talk about all this here, I am open to any discussion.-
completely agree. The law and even the viagogo regulations, if I read correctly, prohibit black market sales.
As for the fees, they are enormous, contrary to what is advertised on the site. 2 tickets at €35 end up costing €90 for the buyer and €60 for the seller.
On eBay, 2 tickets at €35 come to €75 delivered with proof of delivery and €65 for the seller!! Find the discrepancy.
However, delivery depends on the seller since they are the one who triggers the ticket pickup date via UPS (in my case, 12 hours between the sale and pickup) unless the seller does not have the tickets yet............................ -

Hello,
I also bought 2 tickets a little over a week ago and I haven't received anything but I have a confirmation email so I'm thinking it's fine, but just in case, does anyone know if this site is reliable? Thanks!-

Hello, I bought two tickets for a football match in Paris at the Parc des Princes. The tickets were deducted from my account, and I never received the confirmation but even received a refusal. I have made 3 requests on the site, each time with the ticket reference, but I have never received a response. I would like to know if there is an agency I can contact because after this, I plan to file a complaint. Thank you in advance.

Hello
I ordered 2 tickets for the Benjamin Clementine concert on March 12, 2015. As of now, I haven't received anything, just 3 days before the concert, and no confirmation of shipment.
I have already followed up twice with no response. I'm starting to get very worried as well.
We can stay in touch if you want for updates.

this site is really a terrible failure, I sold 3 tickets for Whitney Houston, a concert that was canceled, and instead of doing what is necessary for the buyers to return them to me so I can get a refund, they are ignoring me, they don’t respond to my calls or my messages. This was the first time I used this site and it will definitely be the last time.

no reflection period after purchase, they never answer the phone, by email...
site to be discouraged to everyone.
I am actually going to take legal action against them
definitely do not go there-
Where did you see that there was a cooling-off period after purchasing a ticket? Except for the 7-day withdrawal period, no site will give you a cooling-off period. You bought the tickets, as long as they are in accordance with your order, I don't see why they would give you a reflection period.
Also, you must not have the same phone number because they responded to me in French knowing that they are based in England, I find that to be good.
Good luck with your lawyer... -
It's a site that taxes both sellers and buyers from all sides, by asking for sales exclusivity. If you want a safe and transparent site, Zepass is perfect, super practical, super secure, WITH no fees (for anyone) and guarantees that the sale price will not be higher than the purchase price. Viagogo only works through purchasing Google ad links.
- Hello Elise,
viagogo charges a 15% markup on the ticket price for service fees. These service fees fund our Ticket Guarantee and Customer Service.
Our Ticket Guarantee ensures that buyers receive their purchased tickets in time before the event. In the rare cases where a problem arises, viagogo will provide a ticket of equal or greater value, or, if that is not possible, will offer a full refund. To ensure the smooth completion of transactions, we verify that the seller delivers the tickets sold, find replacement tickets if the seller does not fulfill their commitments, and pay the seller only once the buyer has attended the event.
We also offer a Customer Service that can be reached by phone and email. Our support center is open 6 days a week.
viagogo also charges delivery fees for the tickets. The fees depend on both the buyer's location, the seller's location, and the shipping method.
Best regards.
The viagogo team

This site is a disaster.
I was completely "robbed."
At the beginning of March, I booked tickets for the rugby semi-final.
We made an appointment near the stadium, we are still waiting, and of course, no news. -
Hello,
I bought tickets for the Muse concert at Stade de France on June 12th. Today is June 7th, and I still haven't received anything. I do not question the exchange system and Viagogo's responsibility in sending the tickets, but I believe it is their duty to contact the sellers as the event approaches, to ensure that the seller can fulfill their commitment.
Thank you-
I am in the same situation as you, same concert and especially the same anxiety. At the beginning of the month, I sent an email, and I was told that the tickets had not been sent. Even worse, "Your order has not yet been confirmed by the ticket seller," so to speak, I have really lost hope. With 5 days to go before the event, I really don't know what to do anymore...

Hello,
I've noticed that in this discussion the reactions have been coming in (for 5 years now!!!) and they all sound the same!!!
It's my turn to cry out SCANDAL concerning the scams from Viagogo!
In my case, tickets were purchased at the last minute for the rescheduled U2 concert at Bercy with the EODM. I received electronic tickets; it's indeed risky, but I trust the site that still seems serious.
Arriving in front of Bercy, the doormen barred my access to the venue since the tickets are marked as "canceled."
Completely crazy, I rushed to the ticket office where I was told that Viagogo is not at its first scam and that it's not an official site, hence the possibility of being sold fake tickets.
In front of the gates of Bercy, several dozen people in my situation... it's disheartening!
Upon returning to the province, I immediately contacted Viagogo via email, and it's been exactly 15 days that I've been waiting for a response despite several reminders!!!!!!
On the site, it is still written "response within 12 hours if the concert is within 3 days or 48 hours for any other requests." These are just FALSE announcements, for a FAKE site and FAKE staff.
In conclusion, I do not recommend anyone to buy tickets from Viagogo because on one hand the prices are huge and on the other hand there is always a good chance that the tickets are FAKE.
And to top it all off, there is no professionalism or after-sales service from this site!
It's just scandalous that governments allow such sites to establish themselves in their country, here Geneva I believe.
In short, do not buy from Viagogo, and I would even say don't buy from resellers because these days I feel it's becoming easier and easier to traffic fake tickets.-
Hello,
But where can I buy reliable tickets online? I'm looking for tickets for Rihanna's concert in Amsterdam. I wanted to order on Viagogo, but like you, no response at all, and reading your comments is scary!! Thank you in advance.- Hello, I had purchased tickets for the Stones for October 19, and of course I was very, very stressed after reading all the comments. I didn't receive any paper tickets, I only had the PDF tickets. When the time came, we were able to get in without any problems, but it might be worth mentioning that we were among the first in line, so it was impossible to check if at any point others were being turned away with the same ticket. In summary: too much stress, I won’t buy tickets through Viagogo again, even though it worked for us. Regards, Fritz
-
I would recommend official sales sites like Fnac or Ticketmaster. The problem is that you have to be available on the day of the sale opening and manage to access the server! It's not always easy; it depends on the artist's popularity and especially the number of tickets available (venue or stadium and one date or multiple dates).
Good luck in your quest, but be careful with viagogo, as it can ruin your joy or your gift! This has happened to me and many others before me! -
This morning, we received news from Viagogo after 3 weeks without a response, an email from them this morning with a phone number to call! Great, we thought everything was going to be resolved, but it's ultimately another scandal and a lack of professionalism, even irresponsibility since it's an automated answering machine! Once we typed our transaction number on the keypad, we were offered different menus like "are you buying a ticket?", "didn't you receive your ticket?", "ticket guarantee", but all of this contains just trivial information that we already have in the FAQ on the site... In short, no solution offered, it just frustrates us even more!
For now, my opinion on Viagogo is increasingly negative, no professionalism, no accountability, no one directly on the phone, emails signed by Ray, Juliette... in short, automated responses! Don't buy on Viagogo and don't sell on Viagogo, the risk of scams is too high!!! -

Hello, I would like to buy tickets for the ACDC concert on Viagogo, but I want to know if these tickets are accepted as soon as you go to the counter?! So Pavarotti, when you use your tickets, could you let me know if they were accepted? Thanks in advance.
-
Viagogo is just a site that allows you to sell or buy, I mean, it's a bit like eBay, so the site only connects sellers with buyers, nothing more.. But I read the terms of use (for the first time in my life!) and this site seems really reliable! They present the team, the concept, and even offer jobs or internships in Marketing! Sellers are paid only 4 to 8 days after the event, in case there was any problem. We would thus be fully refunded, etc.. Just read, you will see for yourself that it's intended to be and that it is reassuring :) I think I will buy on this site!

Uh, Mr. Webmaster of Viagogo,
This little message to shed light on the lack of seriousness of your site,
Today I wanted to buy tickets for the semi-finals of the Top 14 in Saint Etienne
(I know nothing about rugby)
I went to the National Rugby League's website, they don't sell tickets but display a price range between 15 and 50 euros for this match
Viagogo is selling tickets for this semi-final.
It shows a price range between 67 and 200 euros ????
https://www.viagogo.fr/
However, Viagogo is the only site currently selling tickets for this match...
In fact, the tickets are not yet printed since we don't know yet which teams will face each other that day, so they are sold nowhere.
Conclusion: Viagogo sells dreams.
I buy 1 ticket today on their site, I pay 67 euros for it, I only receive it in 3 weeks, 2 days before the match, and on the ticket I will see marked Price: 15 euros
the price that all honest counters will offer the week before the match.
(With such practices, one might even wonder if I will ever receive my ticket)
So be cautious when buying on Viagogo... -

Notice to VIAGOGO,
I purchased tickets on April 12, 2010
for the farewell concert of A HA scheduled for October 12 at the ZENITH in Paris.
To date, I have not received any follow-up regarding my order;
it is not for lack of my part in regularly following up with you via email.
I want to alert you through this site;
if, due to your incompetence, I cannot attend the concert,
I will sue you in court and, through my connections with journalists, I will give you bad publicity.
Sincerely, Philippe Magnant -

Viagogo? AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Personal experience: I ordered tickets last February for a concert happening next Monday, May 10, 2010. The funny thing is that I still haven't received the tickets. Considering that Saturday is a public holiday and that I’m flying out Monday morning to get to the concert, I really don't see how they're going to sort this out: 2 days (counting today) for delivery seems tight.
I've sent several emails, no response. The phone constantly goes to voicemail, and the message invites us to check the website's FAQ... great -_-
There is no organization. Money is quickly collected, but the customer service = 0 because they are unreachable.
I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE. -
It's clear that this online store should close its doors; they never respond, and when they do, they talk to you as if you were a dog.

Hello,
Viagogo, a scam in ticket sales?
I wanted to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday, so I bought him a concert ticket to see ZZ Top for €124.24. I paid, received a confirmation email, and was able to print a ticket that does not have my name on it. Sensing a scam, I tried to resell my ticket but had no results. No confirmation email... A while ago, I read in the Belgian press that Viagogo was under scrutiny by the authorities. It was possible to file a complaint with a federal Belgian service, but I no longer have the information. Can you help me? Thank you, because in despair, we gave my dad a little trip on the same date as I realized I had been scammed for €124.24. Thank you, VIAGOGO. -
Honestly, I find all these comments quite unnecessary. Thanks to Viagogo, I was able to attend two major world boxing events, and I received my tickets on time with tracking—once paper tickets and once electronic—and everything went very smoothly for the delivery as well as at the event, it was great!!
And I want to point out that while the ticket prices are indeed marked up, what service is provided to us for free these days??!? None, thank you very much...
I regret your problems and I’m not saying that scams don’t exist, but some stupid comments just stressed me out and made me think negatively for no reason. For me, the price was not in the hundreds of € like some... to hell with negativity!!
Be patient, all the questions and answers we may have can be found on the site, and if something happens to you, you always have legal recourse.
The Viagogo site is at the top of Google for a reason...
So I will conclude by saying that when you can’t afford it, you stay home, and everything goes well—life is a risk; otherwise, what's the point... accidents happen, but that doesn’t mean you stop driving, for example...
Strangely, when everything goes well, no one speaks up, and for me, that’s fine.
Thank you to Viagogo who provided me with complete satisfaction. -

I'm in the same boat; I bought tickets, and I'm a week away from the concert. I contacted them by email: now there's a problem with receiving my tickets. It's not certain that I'll get them!!! I find it crazy that they charge you and then the delivery isn't guaranteed!!!! They should just charge upon delivery!!!
-
Good evening,
I met someone today who had ordered tickets for a sporting event and never received them (the event having passed). To this day, they have not received a refund, and since the site is hosted abroad, there’s nothing to be done, just tears.
Something to consider before making a commitment...-

Mr. Viagogo,
for my 1st sale, I put 2 tickets for the Hcup final on sale. I made a mistake and didn't validate, so I created a new listing that I validated.
Last night, I realized that both listings had been purchased, meaning the same seats were sold twice!!! Despite 5 emails and a long wait on the phone several times, I was unable to reach you.
Nevertheless, I confirmed one of the sales; the letter has already been sent via UPS, picked up this morning and should be delivered tomorrow.
Regarding the buyer's information, I am surprised that the additional mentions alongside the basic ticket information no longer appear. (In my case, I hesitated between category 4 and 5 as the stadium layout on Viagogo and elsewhere left some doubt; I mentioned this hesitation, but the order confirmation indicates category 4.) I do not wish to come across as a thief, nor do I want to refund these tickets that cost me more than what I am selling them for...
I already regret signing up and I think I will return to eBay unless everything improves!!!
Latest news: I am going to be charged due to this Viagogo error (I'm the gogo, right?), and if the seats to find for the buyer are more expensive, it's me who ends up footing the bill!!! It's hard to believe.
First and last time.
If I ever get paid, I will close my account the very next day. -
Hi everyone!
As for me, I bought two tickets for Lady Gaga on May 22 and there's a problem with the delivery. The sender got the address wrong O___o'. So, I still don't have my tickets even though the date is approaching. I would like to contact Viagogo but I can't find a phone number. If someone could help me. I've already sent an email but, well, by the time I get a response... It's making me anxious! Thanks. -
Oh yes, and the phone number that the guy gave me was a fake number: 08 ... with 11 digits!!! BE CAREFUL!
-
I ordered a ticket for Roland Garros last week! Still haven't received it...
I'm ordering another one tonight, no worries, I enter my credit card number, I validate, and then: sorry, tickets not available!
I hope I won't be charged for a second ticket that I will probably never receive.
As for the first one, I hope to receive it but I don’t believe it anymore... when you see the cost of the processing fees and the margins that the site makes! It disgusts me...
I will never use this platform again.
I sent them two emails, no response!
Thanks to "viagogo" for responding to me! In the meantime, I feel like Roland Garros is going to slip through my fingers! -
It is necessary to verify that the price of the purchased ticket corresponds to the ticket received.
Indeed! I bought tickets for €35 each.
It turns out that the received tickets are €18 each.
We must also account for €25 in processing and delivery fees!
Conclusion misplaced.....
A word to the wise
The type of bad response received in this case:
Dear XXXXXX,
Thank you for contacting viagogo.
Viagogo is a ticket exchange, we do not sell the tickets ourselves.
Sellers set their own prices based on the market price for a given event.
The initial value of the ticket, also called face value, printed on the ticket, may be different from what you paid, because you purchased your tickets on the secondary market; therefore, the price of the ticket is determined by supply and demand and the market rate. It is at the price that the buyer is willing to pay for a particular event that the ticket is sold, and it generally increases when there are no more tickets for sale on the primary market.
Depending on supply and demand, tickets can be sold at a price higher or lower than the original value. The face value is explained on our site in the pages of all events.
You will find at the bottom of each event page a yellow box with the face value and in the section "you have tickets to sell," an explanation for sellers on how to choose their price.
We hope that this response will be helpful to you.
Kind regards,
The viagogo customer service team.-
I think you didn't quite understand that Viagogo is just a site that connects people who have extra tickets or can no longer attend their event and want to sell them, with people who cannot find them on the main ticket sales networks. These are therefore "second-hand" tickets, and as such, the sellers set their own prices (which I think is perfectly fair, except there will always be some who try to take advantage!).
That Viagogo takes a commission is also normal because they aren't going to do this for free either. It's the same for E-Bay, PriceMinister, and others, right?
In any case, I'm really happy; I decided to go see Muse at the Stade de France three weeks ago (it's this weekend) and it was sold out about an hour after the tickets went on sale, so I was really thrilled to be able to find some tickets! Sure, I paid a bit more for them (but when you love, you don't count!!!) Last Friday, I was really worried because I hadn’t heard anything about the tickets; I sent them an email, and they responded the same day telling me they would contact the seller, and by Saturday morning, they told me they would be sent on Monday; I received them yesterday! I found their customer service very effective and especially fair to me, the very stressed customer I was a few days ago!
You can always blame the person who resold you the tickets for the price, but at the same time, you did buy them; however, based on my first experience, I really think it's a very good, competent site that listens to its clients (the only "hiccup" is that the number they provide to contact them is not valid!)
On my side, what stressed me the most was my participation on this forum and everything being said! In the end, the vast majority (because there are some who have had real issues with them like not receiving tickets, etc...) of the people complaining here do it like you about the price because they didn’t pay attention to the fact that they were buying second-hand tickets. I find it regrettable to cause people panic for (almost) nothing. -
-
Shana, how can you defend Viagogo! They have a responsibility behind it: for example, to prevent selling tickets 5 to 10 times their original price!!! Sure, they are like eBay and so on... But their responsibility is to prevent abuses!!!! Moreover, they don't even verify the reliability of the listings!!! Viagogo does not do that and tolerates this kind of thing!!!!!!!!!! For your information:
Reselling a ticket for more than its face value is illegal. I reported the Viagogo site to the government site: https://www.internet-signalement.gouv.fr/PortailWeb/planets/Accueil!input.action
Excerpt from the terms and conditions of use of another ticket resale site:
“Face Value of the Ticket”: refers to the value assigned to the Ticket by its issuer, and which is printed on the front of the Ticket.
“Resale Price of the Ticket(s)”: refers to the resale price chosen by the Seller for their Ticket, it being established that this resale price cannot in any case exceed the Face Value of the Ticket, in accordance with the applicable French legislation (law of June 27, 1919).
For example, if you want to buy a t-shirt on eBay for €150 that is worth €25, isn't that a rip-off? Viagogo's responsibility is precisely to set a limit for sellers, to limit abuses!!!! Viagogo does not verify anything!!! Where is the seriousness in that??? It's not just about creating a site and giving unscrupulous sellers the chance to take advantage of people!! We don't know how much a ticket cost the seller; we only find out upon receipt of the tickets!!!! I’m sorry, but Viagogo has a responsibility in that, and they cannot just hide and blame the sellers!!! That’s too easy! They should at least start by respecting the law!!! -

Hello everyone,
I want to share my experience like others have done...
U2 will be at the Stade de France on September 18. I placed my order back in December...so it has been 9 months since the seller confirmed the sale.
We are 14 days away from the event, and: surprise!
Two days ago, I received an email from the viagogo administrative team telling me that unfortunately the seller is unable to honor his commitment, I quote:
"Dear customer,
We are writing to you regarding your ticket order for U2 360°, on September 18 in Paris.
Viagogo is a marketplace where individuals sell tickets.
We have been informed today by the seller of your tickets that he is unable to fulfill his order.
We are aware of the delicate nature of the situation just days before the event and are doing everything we can to resolve it as best as possible.
As part of our guarantee, if we are unable to provide you with equivalent category tickets (which will not necessarily be in the same section or row), we will proceed with a full refund of your order.
If you wish to request a refund now, please contact us by email using the link below or by phone from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 0811 850167.
If this is not the case, we will inform you of the situation by email as soon as possible.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this last-minute information beyond our control.
The viagogo team"
In other words, having only seen the email last night, I couldn’t sleep. These tickets were given as a Christmas gift, my father cried tears of joy, and now I find myself in a situation that leaves me stunned (I've never had luck, but I admit that this is one of the worst news in my life as a 20-year-old among many others…)
So panicking, I sent an email last night around 11 PM, and not receiving a response this morning, I sent another one at 11 AM.
Well, I decided to try my luck with the phone, and after a 3-minute wait, I spoke to a charming young man.
I explained my issue to him, giving him my details as well as my transaction number, etc. He informed me that yes, the seller had backed out DESPITE everything as per the guarantee, terms of commitment and use, etc.
That he could only forward my message and call his colleague in charge of my file.
That I am not the only one in this situation...
That currently, I have 2 options:
- Either accept substitute tickets
- Or decide to stop everything and get a refund
I accepted option number 1!...
So, the moral is, this young man explained to me that the situation is obviously delicate since we are not alone in this case, that the team is doing everything possible to contact various sellers to see if they can get tickets to help us out, and that on their side they have substitute tickets or are trying to obtain some...
In short, a pleasant and friendly call, however, very bad news that nearly made me cry (I want to specify that at 20, not everyone has the same means, and this gift is the dream of a lifetime for those involved who risk collapsing....)
That for now I don’t have more information than this, and no responses to my 2 emails, but that I strongly hope to be compensated with substitute tickets
A big hassle overall.-

Hello Walk, I'm giving you the latest news from my side following my post.
As you know, I called on Saturday and accepted the backup seats.
On Monday, I received a private call that I missed, late, around 7:30 PM. I didn't have time to answer, and now I have a voicemail.
A lady introduces herself, blah blah blah, Viagogo company, we have found your replacement seats, blah blah blah, you will be able to attend the event, blah blah blah, they are category 2 (and not 4 like the other thief), and therefore "very good seats," I quote.
I'm really grateful...BUT:
still no tickets received with less than 6 days to the event, which is tomorrow....
So I'm freaking out, really, because who says they won't give me the tickets after the concert? And therefore never reimburse me!!!
My transaction number has changed...
I received an email yesterday notifying me that my tickets would soon be sent, but still no tracking number in sight!!!
Anyway, I'm really starting to get worked up, sure in 72 hours they quickly found me replacement tickets, but now:
- will they arrive on time
- are they really category 2
- are they real tickets?
Why did you go to the district court and not to the police/gendarmerie station? Can you explain a bit about your steps please, because I prefer to prepare for the worst as well, with proof in hand....
I don't know how many of us there are, the guy told me there are other people in your case, but not how many, I imagine at least fifty! -
I just received an email from Viagogo with my order reference changed. They say my seat is reserved but not yet sent. How can I trust them? This site is so unreliable. You're lucky they contacted you by phone because for me, it's total silence.
As for the complaint, I went to the gendarmerie who referred me to the police. At the police station, I explained my case in detail, and the officer responded that since Viagogo agrees to refund me in full, there’s no reason to file a complaint; there’s nothing criminal. I talked to him about the additional costs I incurred (train, hotel) and the moral damage. He replied that it doesn't change anything, the complaint is not admissible with the police but it can be with the court of instance. (What’s the difference?? These are the specifics of the justice system).
Anyway, I went to the court of instance without much hope. I explained my problem and then, miracle, the person replied that there’s no problem to file a complaint and request reimbursement for the incurred costs and damages. I left with the proper form. I will fill it out if there’s no favorable outcome to this problem.
One last thing. I expressed my dissatisfaction on Viagogo's Facebook. Friends joined in. You and your friends or acquaintances might do the same. -
I think they only contacted me by phone because I reached out to them first by phone!!! Out of fear or commercial strategy.
In the email, the transaction number has indeed changed, but the supposedly category 2 seats are still marked as 4!
And just like you, how can we trust them now?
Because as I told you, we do have the tickets, but if they arrive after the event, they won’t want to refund us, on the pretext that we still received them!
At the local court, we handle disputes under €10,000, and in addition, we can indeed file a complaint there, as this complaint is theoretically immediately forwarded to the prefecture and handled on a case-by-case basis (obviously, it takes time)...
I suppose you have gathered a set of evidence, etc., but what is the little piece of paper they gave you called?
I am quite curious, and I would like to follow you...
So you repeated the same thing to the person who welcomed you there as what you had said to the police...
I have started compiling a file of various screenshots from their site, my invoice, the unanswered emails I sent them, their so-called guarantee, terms of use with sellers, their address, and addresses of several sites like this showing the problem!
Moreover, it should be noted, I saw this yesterday to my great dismay, that Viagogo is blacklisted by one of the best ticket sales sites:
http://www.ilovemyticket.com/fr/black-list/
So honestly, how is such a site still allowed to continue its business? -
The court form is No. 12285*02 and is titled "Declaration to the Clerk of the Local Jurisdiction."
Yes, I have started putting together the file by gathering all the documents I have. By the way, if you have the address of Viagogo France, I'm interested. It will save me time looking for it.
On Monday, I will call them back to find out what the situation really is.
Fingers crossed.
