Hello*
I bought tickets for a football match in Madrid, but with all the comments I've seen, I'm starting to get really scared. I've already bought the plane tickets and reserved the hotel. What do you think I should do? Thank you.

I do not recommend viagogo at all. Personally, I received my tickets, but honestly, waiting 48 hours before the event to be sure to attend is not great... Plus, their story about the seller not receiving the tickets until 2 weeks before is not true. It depends on the seller's reliability. For my part, the seller lent us his season ticket to go watch the match. He could have sent them to us earlier, but still. Even though everything went well despite a terrible follow-up, I do not recommend this site at all.
Hello
I bought tickets for Madonna's concert on July 12, 2012, at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
I do not recommend Viagogo as I bought tickets at double the price thinking I would be in a good spot, but I actually ended up with 45€ tickets that were really poorly situated.
I paid 4.95€ excluding VAT for so-called delivery fees for tickets that I printed myself.
Moreover, the transaction fees are outrageous!!!!!!!!! 24.86€ excluding VAT for two tickets!!!!!!!!!!!
I contacted Viagogo, and the response was just template replies for everyone.
Thank you, Viagogo.

Big rip-off VIAGOGO
I bought two tickets for Céline Dion's concert for a price of €299 on the invoice and was charged €308 without explanation. I printed my tickets where €62 was displayed for each VIAGOGO ticket; it’s a huge scam and thieves. They made me pay for the ticket delivery even though I printed them myself.

viagogo for suckers! Call it whatever you want; but reselling the majority of the tickets for the "Enfoirés" in Montpellier in January 2011, which were bizarrely all sold in less than 2 hours to later resell them at 3 or 4 times the price while monopolizing all the ads on the Internet. This is probably the case for the vast majority of other shows as well. For me, the appropriate term would be rather unqualifiable! For all useful purposes, we can only hope = http://www.midilibre.com/articles/2010/12/09/A-LA-UNE-Les-tres-chers-Enfoires-1476730.php5
I bought 2 tickets for the Roger Waters concert of Pink Floyd on May 31, 2011, in Bercy, Paris
received 15 days before, happy we were off to the capital and there was only 1 valid ticket, frustrated, so everyone avoid this site.

Hello
I also had a problem with them!!! Indeed, I ordered two tickets for the Scorpions concert in the front row at €199 per ticket... I received tickets at the very back... I brought up the issue to them, and their response was that it's more or less normal, that the reseller can sell them at whatever price they want... I agree in principle, but when I order front row seats and receive seats all the way in the back, that's where I draw the line.... I followed up with them, and since then, it's been radio silence. No more replies to my emails, nothing.. Moreover, I don't understand, they have insurance, they can charge the reseller's account. Anyway,.... Great, I'm stuck with crummy tickets! Zero professionalism!

Hello,
For my part, I strongly advise against Viagogo. We bought two good - and expensive - tickets for the Vanessa Paradis concert on January 19, 2011, in Liège, in mid-December 2010. We never received them. They had provided a wrong delivery address to UPS, which consequently could not deliver the tickets to us. When we realized what had happened, two days before the concert, we quickly provided them with the correct address, but since then, we have not had any news. The emails go unanswered and no one answers the phone there.

Update of February 16, 2011: In the end, I did not receive my tickets and had to buy two additional ones. Despite my numerous emails, I never received a plausible explanation, never got the slightest apology, and of course, no compensation. For my part, it is clear that I will never buy anything on Viagogo again. I should have been wary: a site that is so difficult to contact should be avoided at all costs because any recourse is nearly impossible.

Actually, no procedure is effective; that's their strength.
All you can do is shout loudly and repeatedly around you that they are professional brigands and that you should definitely not deal with them.
This way, you'll spare others from getting fleeced.

Here is an email sent to viagogo:
Hello again,
I spoke with your employee Nathalia on the phone this afternoon.
To summarize: I made an initial transaction (with supposedly a false email address!!), which I find hard to believe, but anyway, nobody's perfect, it can happen. This transaction was for 765 euros for 2 seats in G5. Unfortunately, I received an error message at the same time: "tickets not available, attempt failed, please try again."
Given the unavailability, I ordered a second time 2 tickets for 441 euros in A6, which I perfectly received yesterday exactly.
I was super happy, you debited the 441 as agreed, and the 765 euros that the bank saw as pending, which were not debited, were canceled, she no longer saw any pending movements..!!!
This afternoon, Nathalia called me to sell me other tickets, which I did not want (what I wanted had already been sold and I bought others..)...and by coincidence, the charge of 765 euros reappeared....
How do you explain this???
She tried to sell me tickets that I didn't ultimately want, and against my agreement.
Thank you for doing what is necessary because otherwise I will take this further, and I will even go to court if necessary...I know some very influential people....
I asked for your number to explain MY version of the facts, but Nathalia didn't even bother to talk to me....it's your nice colleague Marina who kindly received me on the phone, and who paid the price for it...
Sincere regards

I ordered two concert tickets 3 days ago (345 € for both tickets) on the Viagogo website. It stated that the seller does not have the tickets yet, but he will send them to me as soon as he has them, generally 2 weeks before the event. I didn't like that at all; I don't understand why to wait before receiving them, as I have already paid. So I insisted right after I paid, saying that my father is a lawyer and that if they don't send them to me, I won't let it go! Result: I received them today; they are perfect, and we can track the ticket's transit on the carrier's website (UPS in my case). After that, maybe I would have received them just as quickly without insisting. I will never know. So I recommend VIAGOGO. Surely the prices are very high, but when you only have this option to see the event you've been dreaming of, you don't really question it.
I bought fake tickets for Madonna in Zurich. Upon arrival, I informed them. They asked for photos. I sent them, and they said I had to try to enter the concert with the fake tickets and if it didn't work, I would be refunded. It's been 2 weeks that I've been writing to them every day to get refunded and NO response!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
for my part, I went to see Lady Gaga in concert and I received the same message explaining that the seller didn't have my ticket and that I would receive it at most 15 days before the event...... indeed, a month before the concert I received the ticket by mail and I had NO PROBLEM.... I am surprised to see all the negative comments, maybe I was just lucky.

Hello,
I ordered tickets for the AS Roma vs Udinese football match this Sunday. The amount has been withdrawn from my account, but my tickets are still in the "to be confirmed" section on the website. When I purchased, it said that the tickets would be available for pickup at the event location, but everywhere they mention delivery. Since I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow morning, I'm starting to get a bit worried... What should I do?

Site I would not recommend. I bought tickets for Seal. The tickets received by email did not match my order. Not the right seats, not the correct name. I shared my comments with them and they replied that this is all that was left. In light of my dissatisfaction, they offered me a refund, which I accepted. But to this day, I still haven't received anything and I think I will wait another 2 to 5 days (the timeframe given for the refund, but it has been 15 days) before I file a complaint with a consumer protection agency.
Hello, I need some information, but I can't get a precise answer.
I want to buy football tickets to watch a match in Madrid. Can I have them delivered to my home (I live in France), or do I need to have them delivered in Spain? Since I don't have a place to stay there yet, it's impossible for me.
Thank you for getting back to me as soon as possible.

Hélène, you are therefore fortunate to be among the few percent of satisfied customers! Viagogo needs to present favorable testimonials sometimes, which serve as alibis and justifications.

It’s a whole team that has specialized in scams.
It is absolutely impossible to reach them by phone and their email address does not respond.
It's very difficult to file a complaint since they are based in the USA. They certainly have a correspondent in France to set up the upcoming concert proposals (so it’s necessary to keep up with the news and be present). They use the same method in all the most active European countries regarding concerts.
We will need to track down the scammer who is in France. Get your magnifying glasses and your good instincts ready.

It's not Viagogo that scams; it's the resellers. I bought a concert ticket for double the price, of course, since it's resale (you can't expect to get the fair price either) + the insurance fees (that's exaggerated though). I received my tickets the same day by email. It's an official ticket. I wouldn't go buy my tickets on this site, but when you really love a band, it can be convenient.
SCAM. Viagogo should be avoided. Very bad experience and absolutely incompetent customer service. They offer no solutions to their clients.
They put me on a different time for the show than the one I originally booked without allowing me to change anything. Moreover, the ticket prices are higher than on the official site. I paid €58 for tickets priced at €38.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
After 3 months of incoherent exchanges, hours of waiting on the phone, inconsistent answers, I am forced to hire a lawyer because they still haven't paid me for my sale. I exhaust myself every day with this disastrous customer service and will now tire myself out explaining everything to my lawyer, for 132€, but at the same time if they do this to everyone they must be making a lot of money off our backs.
SCANDALOUS
Hello
I ordered 2 tickets for France vs Brazil at the Stade de France this weekend and I received them today, Thursday, December 16, at my workplace, with a phone call before delivery from UPS, so really very good, notification of the progress by email.
I was a bit worried about this process, I took a chance and I'm happy with it.
I believe that indeed we can encounter problems because the sellers are not directly from the site, so of course there can be inconveniences depending on the individuals.
Regarding the price, of course it's expensive, but we are not obligated to buy, or else we should have bought our tickets in time.

I received my tickets very expensively at 88 euros instead of 25, but I got everything in order, and the payment was only taken out when I said OK. Great site, I will return.

Run away from Viagogo! Run from them! At the slightest problem, they will rob you!!!
