Hello,
I need your help because my Wii, which is on 4.2E, won't start anymore:
When I turn it on, I get a black screen where it says that the system file is corrupted.
I can't find any solutions on Google, so please help me!!!!!!!!
Thank you in advance, and I hope someone has the solution to my problem.

Go to these sites, they are really great:
Wii info
Wii addict
Wii gen
Wii attitude
I particularly recommend wii addict
Go to that one and click on a red link "Tuto des n00bs, pour bien débuter et tout savoir sur le hack Wii de A à Z"
You will see there are plenty of things explained, you will understand everything about Wii hacking
I think that if you download one from the internet it might be possible, well I think so. I never had that idea.

You had to install bootmii using hackmii install/banerbomb -
I don't know if it's possible to install BootMii thanks to this.
-
It doesn't work, and if I changed the motherboard, I don't have a NAND - is there a way to find a compatible one? Thank you.
-
Was your Wii hacked? What did you do on your Wii last time?
-
There's a chance you completely bricked it. I hope you have a backup of your NAND, otherwise you won't be able to use it ever again.
-
The NAND is all the internal memory of the Wii (saves, etc.)
that you can dump using BootMii
you were in the process of installing the HBC and then it bugged out, right? -
No, I was playing Mario Kart 64 through an emulator that I use from HBC
What do we do if we have the NAND and does it include the system because I only have the channels and the saves? -
It seems to me that if you solder a chip or something else, it might work again.
Go check on wii-info and ask your question in the forums.
One more thing, the NAND also contains all the IOS, cIOS, and mIOS of the Wii, it seems (IOS = Input Output System, cIOS = Custom Input Output System, a non-official IOS created by programmers, mIOS = Input Output System but for GameCube games). An IOS is all the functions of the Wii, everything it can do, like reading SDHC cards, etc. -
You need to put BootMii on an SD card along with your NAND backup!
And then once in BootMii, you need to do a restore of that NAND; if you don't have all that, it's screwed!

already his wii is on 4.2 so bootmii can only be installed with CIOS, and it's a very risky method that could brick the wii during the installation of CIOS.
-
I have a Wii with version 4.2 E and Bootmii, and installation via a CIOS isn't very complex!
You just need to use WAD Manager

I know. Boot isn't complicated at all, but the installation in CIOS can brick the Wii.

At this point ^^

I don't have BootMii but StarPatch, it protects from updates and bricks, a bit like a firewall.
-
Another thing, WAD manager is used to install channels on the Wii that can be accessed through the HBC.

I might be confusing things!
I installed BootMii with the same software that installs the HBC.
Maybe it's not Wad Manager indeed ^^
It's normal, but if you put the right files on your SD card, including the correct boot.dol file, it will boot from the card and you won't get the error message!
Look for a tutorial to install BootMii on your Wii

Could you please explain it to me in detail because I can't manage it, I don't understand
thank you in advance -
The easiest thing is for you to find a tutorial that allows you to restore the NAND, it's fairly easy to find online!
For that, of course, you need to have made a backup of your NAND when you installed the HBC.

If you don't have NAND, you're screwed!
Say goodbye to the console
