Hello,
I have a problem with 3 folders that I cannot delete. I just noticed that 3 folders are present on the "Desktop". They are folders that store music, images, etc. How they ended up there... a mystery. I tried selecting them and pressing the Delete key, no effect. I attempted to use "Click and Drag," no effect. I have tried different methods, but they are unmovable. Do you have an effective tip? Thank you for your advice.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,
    Try with unlocker. Right-click on the file, choose unlocker, and delete.

    First of all, thank you both. To respond to ekim55, I have to say that I am always hesitant to download any software because my PC has a significant number of products of that kind. As for rafit jad kuldinger, I inform him that these 3 pesky folders are duplicates of folders found in "My Documents." So that's why I want to get rid of them!! What do you recommend as a procedure? Thanks again.
