help for mss32.dll Solved

Question

Hello, I need some help installing mss32.dll after downloading it. I don't know where to install it. After installing the game, I get this message: "This application could not start because mss32.dll was not found. Reinstalling this application may fix this problem." So my question is how and where to install it, and if someone could tell me, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much... oh yes, I am on XP Pro.

In general, DLLs are located in windows\system32   a widespread error is not a truth

You must copy the file to C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City, not to c:/windows/system32, otherwise it will mess up.

I have the original KOTOR 2, and I have this mss32 bug. I downloaded it and put it in system32. However, you say it needs to be placed in the game folder, but my game is not installed: it simply crashes the CD, and I have to explore the CD to open it. A virus deleted mss32.dll from me.

I had this problem with Call of Duty 2 that asked me to install mss32.dll.. In multiplayer, I can't find a server, I install patches 1.1, then 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and finally 1.7:  I launch the game and it tells me "go find mss32.dll", once this is installed in c /windows/system32, I restart the computer (to be sure), then the game and this time it says "the procedure entry point _AIL_Set_Sample_3D_distances@16 is not found in the dynamic link library mss32.dll".
