Hello,
I am like more and more people and I just tried to play at the casino and miracle I won about 400 euros
however they are asking me for a copy of my ID, proof of address, and more impressively my credit card front and back (hiding the security code). Can someone give me some information about these requests that seem more than suspicious to me? Thank you in advance and have a nice day
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 525.28.3

Hello,

The casino "mondo casino" that you are talking about has a European license, so it must comply with European law regarding gambling.
This requires it to request a copy of your bank cards (front and back) if you have used a bank card, with the CVV number hidden.
A proof of your identity (passport, ID card, or driver’s license) and a utility bill to prove your residence. All of this is to verify that you
are of legal age and that it is indeed you who has played (yes, we also protect you against fraud).
The casino does not ask for access to your accounts, which is totally prohibited and ridiculous, but rather a letter stating that you confirm that you have played at this casino and the amounts involved, for a simple reason: the anti-money laundering law which is very strict in Europe.
You want to play at casinos that do not scam you; these obtain a very strict license where everything is examined in minute detail.
When you make purchases online, you are asked for documents over a certain amount to protect you.
You can imagine that for casino sites where the games are based on chance, the rules are heavier and stricter.

Best regards.

Gerome
