Computer time changes by itself

Hello everyone,
I have a little problem that's starting to annoy me!
This morning I turned on my laptop (ASUS M60J-022V, running Windows 7 64-bit, purchased in November 2009) and Windows displays this date "September 22, 2009 3:58 PM" instead of "January 21, 2010 7:58 AM".
It often happens that the PC jumps forward a day by itself, but this is the first time I've experienced such a large discrepancy.
When I turned it back on this morning, I was at my school connected to the network, but the network time is correct (checked on a PC that synchronizes with it).
With my old PC, this never happened, does anyone know where this might come from?
It doesn't seem to be a virus (Antivirus used).

Thank you

Have a nice day.

One day I was using a computer running XP, and by chance, I checked the configuration of the "Windows Time" component (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > Windows Time), and the "Startup Type" option for this component was set to "Automatic".

Out of curiosity, I went back to check the configuration of this component on my Asus running Win7, and it was set to "Manual" (I have never touched this setting since purchase). So I changed it to "Automatic". Since then, the clock has not been changing.
To be honest, I'm not sure if it's really due to this service component; at least it has been working up until now.

As for the bug described by maxime1818, it's true that this ASUS would shut down on its own (not just the screen, but the computer) even when I only had Internet Explorer open. After a complete reinstall to factory settings and the Windows updates, that seems to have been resolved.

Here's a lead that I'm sharing with everyone.
