Hello,
First of all, I wish you an excellent year.
I am writing to you regarding the following issue: a client (we are in a professional context) asked me to deliver processed files to his FTP, using FILEZILLA CLIENT (which I downloaded specifically, I had never used it before).
He has since changed the login and password for his FTP, to which I can no longer connect; and he claims that I did not deliver anything.
Is there a legal way to retrieve the transfer history that I made from my computer to his server using Filezilla, to prove that I indeed delivered, or will I need to go through an expert examination of my hard drive?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Mésange76

Hello, I'm now reassured in the idea that I'm fed up!!
I am a professional, I like things to be done right, and here we are facing a trust issue.
I myself am a victim of this kind of manipulation.
Let me explain:
I regularly call on "private" training from recognized people in the profession as "webmasters".
An agreement is made between us: 300 euros for 10 hours of private lessons at home.
I pay the 300 euros in advance (when he was only asking me for 50% of the total price...)
But I prefer to pay the whole amount, at least it's paid...
It takes him 5 months to find me a "spot" in his overly busy schedule...
Under threat of legal action (from me), he comes at the beginning of January to give me the 10 hours of lessons...
After two hours we had nothing more to say, so I cut the day short by saying that we could continue in a more virtual way as the site construction progressed...
I have received no CD or paper support
( yes! I'm lying...the perfect "joomla for dummies" pdf placed on the joomla site that I've had for 5 years )
Aside from a link to an interesting online component, no other new information for me, and yet everything had been presented beforehand as a course topic...
On the day of the so-called training, he makes me sign a paper stipulating the price including VAT....
It's mandatory...I sign...but I take a little too long for his liking regarding the payment of this 64 euros VAT and so he decides to modify the access to the website server...Now I'm stuck...
I trusted him again, I had transferred the access in order to prepare for the lesson...
On Monday, I will be at the justice of the peace...You must not let yourself be treated this way!!!
I plan to gather professionals who have had this kind of trouble very soon in the APN
Association of Net Professionals.....seriously if you want to work on a site together...welcome
