Problem with rear speakers Sony DAV-DZ880w

Hello,

I just bought a Sony DAV-DZ880w home cinema system, with wireless rear speakers... but here's the problem, I can't get the rear speakers to work, the S-Air wireless receiver doesn't seem to be able to pick up the signal.
Has anyone experienced this same issue, and if so, how did you manage to resolve it?
Thanks in advance, it's really frustrating to have bought a 5.1 system that currently only works as 2.1
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.10

Same problem for now, I think it must come from the connections but I can't find the solution at the moment.
Moreover, for my part, the green light on the airport box is indeed green, so the signal is fine, but the sound is not coming through.
Also, during the test, the speakers were working, but not with a movie now lol.
And to conclude, when I set the home cinema to TV, it doesn't send the TV sound even though I connected it via HDMI and also with a scart, so I have to go through another connection between the satellite decoder and the home cinema... if anyone has a solution...

This post is a bit old, but has anyone found a solution because I'm having the same problem with my Sony home theater system, and it's intermittent.

Same problem but by changing the selector and pairing on channel B, it works with some interruptions anyway for me channel B is the only one that works reasonably well.
As for receiving an air module from another, the only imperative point is that there are no large metallic objects nearby.
Hard drives can also radiate and emit electrical noise which will disrupt the radio signal.
So multimedia hard drives should be avoided.
Sorry I can't help you more, I haven't fully solved the problem at my place.

Good evening and Merry Christmas to everyone,
I have owned this home cinema system for a year and I had this problem before, and after sending it to Sony's customer service, they told me there was no problem, and my advisor advised me to buy a high-end HDMI cable (about 60 euros) because an ordinary cable lets out waves that interfere with the S AIR card behind the player. Anyway, since then, no more problems. I hope it will work for you.
Otherwise, what do you think of this home cinema system and what cabling have you done with your devices? For my part, very good.
    Good evening.
