Issue with Sony Handycam DCR-HC38

Hello,

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC38,

And when I put in the cassette, and when I tried to play this cassette, I received this message (re-attach the

power source), and when I tried to remove the cassette it was impossible because this cassette did not eject

automatically. What should I do?

    I have a Sony DCR-H24e camcorder and it shows the error code c:32:11 re-attach the power source
    I don't know what to do, it doesn't want to cooperate anymore!!
    The cassette cover won't close even after I reset it!!

      Well, I had the same issue with a DCR PC8E camcorder. No way to eject the tape, and when I finally managed to, I couldn't put one back in. There's a kind of white plastic piece that moves inside when the cassette compartment opens, but it seems like it's not rotating normally... Do you have any information?

    Hi everyone, I finally found a solution to fix this problem: you need to remove the battery and then reconnect it, that's all. Good luck.

      Hello, with the DCR-HC27 I'm having the same issue. The tape compartment stays open with the "msg re-attach the power source" code C:32:11.
      The reset, removing the battery, ... nothing works.
